configure patch for Alpha/Tru64 Unix 5.1
I had to apply this patch to configure.in to get configure to run on
Tru64 Unix on Alpha. The RSA test forgot to reset $LIBS.
(The compile stopped with missing "zlib.h". I'll send more patches if
required. :-)

glibc detected *** /usr/lib64/R/bin/exec/R: double free or corruption ???? tm package
Hi,
I have a collection of .txt documents in my working folder for which I want to do some text mining. If I run TextDocCol from the tm package, R crashes with some memory issues. Does anyone has any idea if this is related to R itself or to the tm package?
Below you can find what is happening here.

E-learning environment for R
Hello,
Does an e-learning environment for R (in English) exist? I would like
to point out to students a way to learn R if they have missed the
course on R.

RV: About your driver NUTDRV_ATCL_USB(8) for install
I think I may be of some help in this matter. Since I am running a
bunch of Raspberry Pi's with NUT and it took a lot of hacking to make
it possible. You could probably copy and paste this right into a
shell script and just run it ...
# Do an rpi-update FIRST to prevent USB strangeness

RV: About your driver NUTDRV_ATCL_USB(8) for install
Dear Charles,
Thanks for your quick reply, but I can't install nut_2.7.2 in my raspberry.
1) I create a [nut] directory and use wget to download three files:
[nut_2.7.2-1.dsc] [nut_2.7.2.orig.tar.gz] [nut_2.7.2-1.debian.tar.xz] 2)I
unpack:
dpkg-source -x nut_2.7.2-1.dsc
3) I use command
root at pi1:/nut/nut-2.7.2# debuild -us -uc .
..
And I have the following error code:

On .. glibc detected home/sguha/lib64/R/bin/exec/R: realloc(): invalid next size: 0x000000000209e210 ***
Hello,
I'm trying to use rjson to parse a JSON object. The object can be found here
http://pastebin.com/np0s5hgM
(you'll probably need to add quotes around the content)
fromJSON returns the error
glibc detected home/sguha/lib64/R/bin/exec/R: realloc(): invalid next
size: 0x000000000209e210 ***
Is there a fix coming soon? Maybe CRAN should also have an outstanding
bug field -

Production Server That Just Works?
Hi,
Love Rails...
I''m looking for a Production Quality Server that brings the same ease of
use as Rails does to web development.
I''ve tried TextDrive, and never got it to work. I''m sure there are good
reasons why it didn''t work but they are beyond me. I''ve contacted tech
support there several times, and it seems that there are so many setups

Migrating to samba from windows NT domain
Hello,
I'm planning migration to Samba over Debian Etch servers from NT
domain with Windows NT servers.
I have only one domain, with 1 PDC and 5 BDC distributed on various subnets.
Unfortunately I have running various services in PDC and BDC servers
that I must remain after the migrations, so I can't stop PDC and BDC
servers permanently after the migration to Samba.
Can I deactivate

RV: About your driver NUTDRV_ATCL_USB(8) for install
Dear Steve,
Thanks.
Until today I could not install the nut in my raspberry. All installation good, but with my ups " Ovislink Chrome 1000VA" and "nutdrv_atcl_usb" driver, it inform me the following error details.
I can startup nut but nutmon don't receive anything only (lost conection).
My setup:

sem package subscript out of bounds error
I'm having the most curious error while using the sem package. For
the model I'm working with, I keep getting the following error:
Error in J[cbind(1:n, observed)] <- 1 : subscript out of bounds
I''ve used debug=TRUE with sem, and there don't appear to be any
problems with model - there are no latent variables in this model.
The variables in the covariance matrix

report to one of my customers, and I noticed that every valid call
complete action (COMPLETEAGENT, COMPLETECALLER) is followed by an
