OT: Polycom IP501 Config file error - Error is 0x4020 (during autoboot...)
Using FTP to configure 501.
Gets past "Running... App = sip.ld"
and: Welcome! Processing configuration...
"This may take a few seconds."
Then it displays:
Config file error
Error is 0x4020
and reboots continuously, repeating the above.
Anyone seen this before?
Is this a corrupt *.ld file?
An FTP error? (PASV)?
A missing SETUP setting?
Thanks!

FreeBSD Samba Binary Package
Hi,
The Samba URL http://us3.samba.org/samba/ftp/Binary_Packages/ does not seem
to have a FreeBSD binary package. I tried a web search but to no avail. I
have searched the samba list archives and i could not find any pointers
either. Any assistance would be most welcome
Thanks in Advance,

roundrobin strategy in queues not working as described?
I have set up an operator queue for our receptionist.
That way, if she takes a break or is out, by logging out of the queue,
calls to the "Operator" can be handled by other agents.
I have set strategy = roundrobin in queues.conf.
According to "the book" ATFoT, roundrobin always starts with the first
agent in the queue. This is the desired result. I want all calls to

alpha in Holt-Winters method
Hi,
I'd like to know if the Holt-Winters function in R can modify the
alpha paremeter in an "intelligent" way. I know it can vary from 0 to
1.
Wich mathematical formula does it use to calculate the correct value of alpha?
Thanks, bye.

how can a SYSTEM user access domain shares?
I hava a Samba3 domain and workstations that are joined to this domain.
On each workstation boot, I would like to run a script on these
workstations, that would do something useful (install software etc.).
For security reasons, I wouldn't like to run it as a Domain
Administrator (the password would be stored on a workstation, which
could be potentially cracked).
So I have to run it as a

Help with transferring a second call from a snom 190
Hello List-
I'm having a problem getting snom 190 phones to transfer a call to
another local extension.
Here is the scenario:
A call (call1) comes in from the PSTN to (exten1). (via pri, if that
matters)
Another call (call2) comes in to (exten1).
(call1) is put on hold while (call2) is answered.
(call2) is then transferred to (exten2) using the "Xfer" button on the
snom phone. This

DTMF signalling, SIP, and Background()
Hi,
I am currently setting up a voice mail/IVR machine with asterisk (1.4.10
at the moment). During testing and evaluation, all was fine; in the -
slightly different - production environment, the IVR contexts do not
react sensibly.
The environment is:
POTS <-- (ISDN) --> PBX <-- (SIP) --> Asterisk
with the Asterisk registering with our local PBX.
When a user reaches the Asterisk

Hello and Happy 2020!
Do we already have a plan to update the xen-412 branch to recent release of Xen 4.12.2 ?
I'm happy to test once the rpms are out.
Thanks a lot,

Various uidlist and index errors with 1.1 on NFS
Two nights ago I took a leap and extended my testing of dovecot 1.1 by
replacing 1.0 for the approx 15 users I had on 1.0. At that time I also
for the first time tried dovecot 1.1 in a load balanced 2 server configuration
with indexes on NFS. I was hoping I did this right, using the mail_nfs params
and 1.1 so fchown etc would flush the access cache, but I am getting a number

clusteranalysis dendrogram
Dear all,
i have a little trouble with cutting an understanding the handling of
dendrogram and hclust.
plotting clusters does work and it delivers a dendrogram. the problem
is that the dendrogram shows lots of pretty small clusters and only
some larger ones.
i know that this has to do with my data. But is there possibility to
tell the plot function just to plot the clusters with more than

Coloring leaves in Dendrogram according to gene names
Hello,
I am a new R user and have a question regarding dendrogram coloring.
I would like to color each leaf in the dendrogram (dhc) according to a
specific criterion. For me this criterion is the gene name.
For this, I created a data.frame with 2 variables: The gene name and the
corresponding color.
Using the following function, adapted from "dendrapply {stats}", I still
have the same
