reshaping data
I have the following data (see RawData using dput below)
How do I get it in the following 3 column format (CO2 measurements are the
elements of the original data frame). I'm sure the package reshape is where
I should look, but I haven't figured out how.
Thanks ahead of time

kruskal.test followed by kruskalmc
Hi all,
After running kruskal.test I have got results (p<0,005) pointing to reject
the hypothesis that the samples were draw from the same population.
Howerver when I run the kruskalmc there are no significant differences in
any of the multiple comparisons. Is that possible? Some clarification?
Thanks, Humber

interpolation
Hello R Users,
I am new to R and I have simple problem for R users.
I have CO2 observations defined on time axis(yr,mo,day,hr,min, sec). (DATA
ATTACHED HERE)
First I want to convert time axis as one axis as 'hour' on regular interval
as 1 hour. Say 00 hrs to 24hrs(jan1), 25hrs to 48hrs(jan2) and so on.
Then I want to interpolate CO2 at every hour.
Kindly anybody can help,
Many thanks,

Estimating IRT models by using nlme() function
Hi,
I have a question about estimating IRT models by using nlme, not just rasch
model, but also other models.

received packet with own address as source address
Hi,
we''re running 4 xen servers on our network with multiple network cards.
During HighLoad we experince degeneration of inbound network traffic
through our loadbalancer. I might found a reason for it, in Dom0 dmesg
output looks as follows:
[1157421.975910] eth0: received packet with own address as source address
[1157421.975957] eth0: received packet with own address as source

fitting models with gnls
Dear R-list members,
Some months ago I wrote a message on the usage of gnls (nlme library) and here I come again.
Let me give an example:
I have a 10 year length-at-age data set of 10 fishes (see growth.dat at the end of this message) and I want to fit a von Bertalanffy growth model, Li= Linf*(1-exp(-k*(ti-t0))) where Li = length at age i, Linf= asymptotic length, k= curvature parameter, ti=

SMBD Crash
Our software utilizes an OS X Server (Snow Leopard 10.6.8) for file
read and writes. We gather files out of many directories, process
them, and then write files back to the server.
We had a long time end user who utilizes our software with an XP box
upgrade from XP to Windows 7.
Now with Windows 7 the SMBD is crashing routinely under heavy loads.
Whatever information it was working

Tukey post hoc comparison (glht?) after 3factorial mixed model (lmer)
Hello, dear R-community.
This is a question about TukeyHSD between factor combinations of a Three-Way
ANOVA, which is - since it is a multi measure ANOVA - not a simple ANOVA but
a Generalised Linear Mixed Model (GLMM), calculated with "lmer".

Help understanding some benchmark results
G''day, all,
So, I''ve decided to migrate my home server from Linux+swRAID+LVM to Solaris+ZFS, because it seems to hold much better promise for data integrity, which is my primary concern.
However, naturally, I decided to do some benchmarks in the process, and I don''t understand why the results are what they are. I though I had a reasonable understanding of ZFS, but now

[PATCH RFC v5 net-next 0/6] enable tx interrupts for virtio-net
Hi:
This is a new version of trying to enable tx interrupts for
virtio-net.
We used to try to avoid tx interrupts and orphan packets before
transmission for virtio-net. This breaks socket accounting and can
lead serveral other side effects e.g:
- Several other functions which depends on socket accounting can not
work correctly (e.g TCP Small Queue)
- No tx completion which make BQL or
