R crashes when loading rgl package before minqa package

Hej, When plotting triangles with rgl.triangles and setting the axes afterwards with decorate3d(aspect=TRUE), the axes get the color used for the last triangle plotted. Plotting a cloud/fog of variable density in rgl
Hi everyone, I want to plot a 3D interpolation of the concentration of aquatic organisms. My goal would be to have the result represented as clouds with a density proportional to the abundance of organisms, so that I could fly (well, swim actually ;) ) through the scene and see the patches here and there. advice on arguments
I have a general style question about R coding. Suppose I'm writing a function (foo1) that calls other functions (foo2, foo3, ...) which have complicated argument lists (e.g. optim(), plot()), _and_ I may be calling several different functions in the body of foo1. Further rgl()/spheres3d() query
Hi, I am applying the following code to map pca loadings onto a 3d grid, my problem is this - the output only plots the spheres in the requested color (in this case "red") for the first argument. rgl.postscript() failure when saving a scene
Dear all, I write to the community to know if other people expierenced the same problem. I want to save a rgl scene where I plotted a 3d cloud of spheres whose radius is set proportional to a given variable and coloured by another group variable and with 95% ellipsoids for distribution of any group. I had no problem at all for coding but I had two problem when saving the scene (in any format)

rgl.snapshot() on Vista
Dear Daniel (and Duncan): back in January you reported that you were having trouble saving an rgl movie on Vista. I don't know if you ever got that resolved, but a student of mine is now having a similar problem, not specific to dynamic graphics (which would have to be a problem outside of rgl anyway). shapes in rgl
Does anyone have a way of producing solid shapes other than spheres in rgl? I am using rgl to produce a simple visualisation of a forest model results using "lollipops". Its just a bit of fun, but as many of the trees are pines I would like to depict their crowns as cones. If there is a solution I need it to work under windows.
