[LLVMdev] A question about alias analysis
Oh, your meaning is pointers in a aliasset have equal address logically? But I think that two pointers are alias means they point to a same memory object, so if pointers "p" and "q" are alias, it seem as p = q, not &p = &q. Another question is about "forwarding". "AliasSet[XXXX, 0] may alias, Mod/Ref forwarding to YYYY" (XXXX != YYYY) means the

R4.1: seq.POSIXt, tz="AEST" (PR#9572)
Times from seq.POSIXt come out wrong in AEST timezone around Feb 29 every leap year before 1970 (on Windows XP). According to help(DateTimeClasses), this is handled by "our own C code". > x <- as.POSIXct("1968-02-27") # tz="AEST" > x.gmt <- as.POSIXct("1968-02-27", tz="GMT") > data.frame( GMT=seq(x.gmt, by="day",

virtual network bug?
I have had a number of occasions lately where a virtual "NAT" network (such as default) has stopped working. I have attempted to stop and then restart the network from the "network details" but the only thing that seems to work is to restart all of the virtual guests which use that network. I don't believe that I should have to do that. Is there some command which

Install config: lighttpd dead but pid file exists
I''m trying to run rails on RHED (centos 4) by following this tutorial: http://wiki.rubyonrails.org/rails/pages/RailsOnRHEL and something is gone a bit astray during the install process that is not allowing lighttpd \ apache to run rails on the web. Since i''m running Centos, I should mention I''m NOT running SELinux. As it is, i''m at a total loss as to why

Home Share Question
HPUX / AIX / Samba 2.0.6 I'm trying and getting frustrated with configuration of the SMB.CONF file to get the [homes] share to be the only name listed when users browse to these servers. I don't want to have the share auto renamed to the user name that is attaching. The SMB.CONF help file states that this can be done. Can someone please tell me the SMB.CONF [homes] variables that need

Force "square" crosstabulation
Hello list members, I'm looking for a way to force the results of a crosstabulation to be square - that is, to include 0 values. For example: table(letters[1:4],letters[c(1:3,3)]) yields: a b c a 1 0 0 b 0 1 0 c 0 0 1 d 0 0 1 I would like to return: a b c d a 1 0 0 0 b 0 1 0 0 c 0 0 1 0 d 0 0 1 0 Any suggestions? Thanks! -- Manuel A. Morales

Working Fine - Suddenly Not
Hello All, AIX 4.3.3 / Samba 2.0.6 Have had no problems in months accessing shares / using SAMBA. This morning users called to say that they cannot connect. Stopped and restarted the NMBD and SMBD services. smbstatus shows no issues. CROSSTABULATION
I want to form a 3x3 crosstabulation for the signs of two vectors (i.e. Negative, Zero, Positive). The problem is that I am simulating the data so for some iterations one of the categories is absent. Thus the resulting table shrinks to 3x2. I want it to be 3x3 with zero column corresponding to the missing category. Moreover, I have tried but failed to give the dimension names. -- Sohail Chand
