Dear R-Users,
I used the box.tidwell () function of the car Package.
When I used the following formula:

Box Tidwell / Error Message / Error in parse(file, n, text, prompt) : syntax error in
Dear R-Users,
I used the box.tidwell () function of the car Package.
So far everything is fine. However, if the number of dummy variables in the
part not to be transformed (other.x formula) exceeds a certain level (around
70), I receive the following error message:
Error in parse(file, n, text, prompt) : syntax error in
What did I miss? And how can I solve this problem?

megatec driver and usb-to-serial converters
Hi all,
Currently, the "megatec" driver only supports UPSes which have a
serial (RS232) interface.
However, I'm under the impression that most of the models that speak
the megatec protocol, and have an USB interface, just have a standard
serial-to-USB converter inside. This being the case, there should be a
"/dev/ttyUSBx" device which the megatec driver could use just as

Bug#404538: not binNMU safe, etc
Package: xen-3.0
Version: 3.0.3-0-2
Severity: serious
This source package is not binNMU safe, which I understand is an RC bug.
If the changelog, or any of several other files are changed, the build
process wants to rebuild debian/control, and tries to use files from
linux-support-2.6.18-1 to do it. This fails, since that package is a)
not a build dependency b) not in the archive under that name

[EXTERNAL] Re: Fixing Drops With SMART1500LCDXL & USB-HID Driver
Charles and Wolfy,
Thanks for the replies.
I added some responses below.
I think I got the driver debugging right, but let me know if it is off.
I should note:
The CentOS 7.6 machine I have been testing with is a virtual machine (running on VMware ESXi 7.6). At least 1 customer and I have seen the same issue on VMs and physical boxes, so I don’t think that matters, but if it does let me know.
