Vertical line in densityplot?
Hi all,
I'm trying to get a vertical line at a specific point in a
densityplot. abline seems to be what's required, but it doesn't align
itself to the scale used in the plot.
example:
library(lattice)
x<-rnorm(100)
plot.new()
densityplot(x)
abline(v=0)

The line seems to use some other coordinate system. What kind of call
do I use to make abline use the graph's

Time Series
I have what I hope is a simple question - is it possible to do time series
analysis on a small data set specifically only four data points?
I have collected human threat data (mean number of threats per kilometre
walked/ survey) every 3 months in eight different sites (four with an
experimental element and four control sites). I am trying to determine the
best way to determine if there is a

how to draw a 4d picture with density estimation?
I have 3 row data in the format as x,y,time
I want to draw it as a 3d picture;x as x axis, y as y axis, the xy's
density as z axis, the corresponding time as color.
I have read the manual of R and failed, Since kde2d and bkde2d give
grid data, this grid data cannot match its original time.
Could anyone do me a favor?
thanks.

4D v11 on wine 1.2.2
Hi,
I'm trying to install 4D V11 on wine with RHEL6 (wine version 1.2.2) and
I'm finding same problem as in bz
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=21845 and previous thread
http://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-users/2010-February/068672.html.
I know some people has been working on that. Have you find any
workaround for that.
Best regards,

3D or 4D plot
I have data on a regular grid in the format: x y z data. I would like to
be able to plot them in 3d kind of like a volume or a mesh with colors. Is
that possible in R and how?
Thanks

Hello,
I need some help with a 4D-Plot.
Here is my code:

[osstest] production-config: reduce min log expire age from 7d to 4d :-(
The interval between having to clear out the git caches has become
ridiculously short.
I''m going to arrange to keep the logs for less long. We need,
however, to have more space for logs. I will try to organise this.
We also need an approach to git caching that is less wasteful of
space. If anyone fancies writing a competent caching proxy for git,
please get in touch. Failing that

4D plotting
Hello list,
Thanks in advance for whatever help you can give me. I have a data set that I want to visualize that has four important dimensions (x,y,z,t).
What I would like to be able to do is plot the three spatial coordinates using, say, scatterplot3d (or similar), and have the color of the plotted
points be determined by the time coordinate. I've tried using scatterplot3d to do this, but

pb with 4D dicom data and oro.dicom
Hello,
I have the following problem. After a PACS upgrade in our hospital, the dynamic 3D images acquired after contrast media injection with a 3T Philips MRI are all saved in a single 4D file instead of a series of 2D images containing multiple 3D images over time. I used to convert this series of 2D dicom images in the format nfti with oro.dicom. However, I am no longer able to make oro.dicom

export 4D data as povray density files
Dear list,
I wish to visualise some 4D data as a kind of colour / translucent
cloud in 3D. I haven't seen such plots in R (but perhaps I missed a
feature of rgl). The easiest option I found would be to export the
data in povray's df3 (density file) format and visualise it with
povray.
The format specification baffles me a little,

4D data acsess
Hi, I have a 4D data file from MATLAB, call it X, that I want to analyze in
R. The first 3 dimensions are x y z coordinates and the forth is a value in
time.
If you took a sample vector in matlab it would look like
vec1 = X(x1, y1, z1, :)
vec2 = X( x2, y2, z2, :)
this would give you all values (I have 300 of them) corresponding to this
(x1,y1,z1) point of X.
Now I read the MATLAB datafile 4D

4D Plot ??
Tried to post this last night, but it doesn't seem to have appeared.
Using R 2.0.1 on Windows XP + SP2.
I am traveling, away from my usual references. I'm trying to make a
4-dimensional plot: a levelplot with overlaid contours, with different
response variables represented by (1) colors on the levelplot and (2)
the contour lines.
First try was filled.contour + contour but the key

Listing elements of a 4D array
Dear list,
I'm having trouble to see how my elements on a 4 dimensional array are
listed.
For example, I generated the following array:
junk.melt=melt(occ.data,id.var=c("Especie", "Site", "Rep", "Año"),
measure.var="Pres")
y=cast(junk.melt, Site ~ Rep ~ Especie ~ Año)
Now, I want to be able to look at how my species (Especie) are listed, in
