Hi, my bank requires a java certifiate that won't run under linux (I know that most of the java applets are platform independent, but this one is not). I've managed to get java running under Firefox with wine, but it turns out that their java won't run properly under Firefox neither. (This was affirmed by a windows user friend as well.) I've installed Netscape 6.2.2 on Mdk82, but have not had much luck with help.start() (R-1.5.0 compiled from source). When I do help.start(), it just starts up netscape with the default home page, rather than the R help page. Doing ?<anything> at the R prompt starts up yet another netscape instance, but still no R help. Anyone knows why, or even better, how to solve this? Regards,
