[StructurizeCFG] Trouble with branches out of a loop
Hi, I've been investigating the StructurizeCFG pass, and it looks like it has trouble handling CFG edges that break out of a loop and go directly to the function exit. Am I running up against a bug in the structurizer, or a general limitation of the algorithm used? As an aside, is there any documentation for the algorithm used? Is it based on a published paper? The input IR I have is the

Testing REST webservices? (Not Rails)
Hi, I am new to RSpec and BDD. I was wondering if RSpec specifications are a good solution for testing REST webservices (not implemented in Rails). If so, what would be a good way to test something like the API described below? =========== GET http://localhost/workflow text/xml Result: 200 OK <?xml version="1.0"?> <workflows>

Asterisk @ Home Voicemail
OK, here's the setup, AAH 0.8, Grandview 2000 phone, Digium TDM04B interface to POTS lines. Everything seems to be working just fine, but I have some questions on how to access voicemail options. I can leave a message for an extension, but when I try to retrieve it by using *97 it asks for the password and even though I type in the same password I gave the extension for vmail, it tells

Convert char vector to numeric table
I'm a great fan of read.table(), but this time the data had a lot of cruft. So I used readLines() and editted the char vector to eventually get something like this: " 23.4 1.5 4.2" " 19.1 2.2 4.1" and so on. To get that into a 3 col numeric table, I first just used: writeLines(data,"tempfile")

RODBC Oracle and VB automation with R(D)COM
I haven't been able to find any help on this and am really struggling. I've been using RODBC 1.1-3 and R(D)COM v1.35 for a little over a year successfully with my Access Database, and now im switching to Oracle 9i. I use R 2.0.1 on a Windows XP platform, 1GB ram, 2GHz Intel Processor) When I connect through the Rgui R console, the connection is successful (but through VB the attempt

Manly's randomization analysis of multiple regression
My wife has been using a diagnostic from Manley (1991; "Randomization and MonteCarlo Methods in Biology") that compares a normal multiple regression's performance with that using random predicted variables. Is there something like this already available in R? If not, the "boot" package looks like a good place to start looking for methods, no? Thanks in advance Bruce

Winbindd+W2K+NT+Pam+Samba 2.2.3a+Solaris
Hi - I have been attempting to set up Samba to do authentication against a Windows 2K Domain Controller as well as NT PDCs. I have installed Winbindd, Samba, and compiled with PAM and updated my smb.conf, pam.conf file and the other stuff in the installation guide. The objective of all of this is to allow an application running on top of Solaris to authenticate the users logging into the

Dialing off-hook with Polycom SoundPoint IP 430
Hi... I've been fighting this for a while now, trying clean builds of Asterisk 1.14.18, 1.14.19rc3, and then 1.6 Beta 6 today. No workee. :-( Here's the results for various calls made off-hook (push the blue Speakerphone button on the Polycom 430): 988852700 - Phone waits for me to either hit the soft-key "Send" or "EndCall". If I hit "Send",

QQ plotting of various distributions...
Hello! I am trying with this question again: I would like to test few distributional assumptions for some behavioral response data. There are few theories about true distribution of those data, like: normal, lognormal, gamma, ex-Gaussian (exponential-Gaussian), Wald (inverse Gaussian) etc. The best way would be via qq-plot, to show to students differences. First two are trivial: qqnorm(dat$X)
