horiz barplot with 2 values for each year
Hi,
I'm trying to plot a graph where for each year I have 2 numbers best and
worse. for example for year 2003 I will two values 3.2 and 5.4, and for
year 2004 I will have 3.5 and 6, and so on.
2003 XXXX
XXXXXX
2004 XXXXX
XXXXXXXX
For the same year the 2 entries, if possible, will have different color,
and will be on the graph without space between them. The space will

That's not being generated by the CreateCast, so it looks like your description
of the problem was quite misleading.

Rjava failing to initialize in Windows 2000
Dear Any,
I am trying to initialise Rjava with the objective of running ORCA within R.
I am running R1.5.1 on Windows2000 and get the same problem with Sun

You'll probably need to dump both the source and the dest and show the code that's being generated. A lot of guessing here that's not getting us very far very fast.

Rcmd SHLIB under NT
Hello:
I'm trying to use Rcmd SHLIB to compile a single file, sann.c, to
get sann.dll.
I was able to get
make libR.a
to work, after going into MkRules and changing the line
DLLTOOL=$(BINPREF)dlltool -k --as $(AS)
to read
DLLTOOL=C:/MINGW-1.1/bin/dlltool -k --as $(AS)
But now I get:
C:\rw1051\src\gnuwin32>Rcmd SHLIB sann.c
make: make: Command not found
make: *** [libR] Error 127

Did you test it? Can you do: src->getType()->isFloatTy()
What could be other reasons for such error?
The only other possibility I can think of is that src was created
using a different context.
Ciao, Duncan.

error starting SJava: classpath
Dear R experts,
Sorry, I am resending this, since I have not received this mail myself for
the past 5 hours.
I saw a similar question dated July 2. But there is no answer to it. Does
anybody have a solution to it?
I am using window NT, and the R version is 1.5.1, the SJava package is the
binary version SJavaWin_0.62-8.zip.
Here are the error message:

I am trying to build a package. The functions are written only in R (no C code). I am trying to proceed as described in R-exts.pdf
But instead to get a build package i am getting (see below). At first glance it seems to me that i understand the output. At something similar i am looking most of my

Hello, I am a new R user, using version 1.5.1. I am
attempting to run R programs from a dos command line
(in win2000) and am having problems. My goal is to
be able to use R from batch scripts in both windows
and also in Linux eventually later.
When I first ran "rcmd BATCH --help" it said that
perl was not found. after installing perl and
running again, I received the following error:

WebSite Ver 2
No one has really stepped forward to push the website ver2 project
forward. So, if it is ok with everyone, I'd like to take that task on.

Error 127 and dlltool
Hello:
Many thanks to Professor Ripley for responding to my earlier post, included below, about trying to use mingw32 gcc.I did put back the original Rinternals.h. I am still crashing R every time I try to use C code.
Here is what I did, basd on readme.packages:
1.) Ensured that C:\Rtools was first in my path, and obtained a new tools.zip from BDR's R tools site.
2.) Ensured that I

Hi Yakov, that looks correct to me. You can also use CreateFPExt which is
slightly simpler.

[LLVMdev] Transferring value* in LLVM
Hello
I want to transfer value (Value* src) of the type `FloatTyID` to
`DoubleTyID`(I need all floats to be saved as 8 bytes).I have tried:
builder.CreateCast(llvm::Instruction::FPExt, src,
llvm::Type::getDoubleTy(llvmContext),””)
I don`t know if I use CreateCast correctly and if this approach is correct
at all.
Thank you.
Yakov
