weird to me interaction between time() and %%, %/%
Dear List,
I'm getting weird and unexpected behaviour using time and %%, or %/%. It's
likely I'm not appreciating the nuances of floating point arithmetic. Or it
could be a bug.
I'm running

Help with wavCWTPeaks
I cannot understand the following error printed out when I try to get the extrema of my time series.
I would appreciate some suggestion as I really cannot interpret the error. I might not be using a proper
set of parameters in calling such functions. I am learning by doing ...

A pointer in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

FFT output and phase
I'm doing the time-series data analysis using FFT. After fft(), I used spectrum() to calculate the power spectrum, which is used to define the main frequency. Now I want to get the phase information according to this frequency. For example, input 12 time-point data,

discrete ECDF
Dear list;
I just created a utility function that replicates what I have done in
the past with Excel or OO.org by putting a formula of the form
=sum($A1:A$1) in an upper-corner of a section and then doing a "fill"
procedure by dragging the lower-rt corner down and to the right. When
divided by the grand sum of the entries this function then calculates
a 2D-discrete-ECDF.

lmList and lapply(... lm) different std. errors
Am I trying to perform multiple linear regressions on each 'VARIABLE2'. I
figured out that there are different ways, using the following code: (data
is given at the end of this message)
reg <- lapply(split(TRY, VARIABLE2), function(X){lm(X2 ~ X3, data=X)})
lapply(reg, summary)
Which produces the following:

Tasa variación diaria COVID-19
Muchas gracias a todos por su ayuda.
Hace un rato antes de abrir el correo, he encontrado dos soluciones a mi
problema de como calcular el porcentaje de variación.
La primera es usando el paquete dplyr:

La segunda usando la función PercChange del paquete DataCombine

creating mulptiple new variables from one data.frame according to columns and rows in that frame
Dear R-helpers,
I have a data.frame (bcpe.lat.m) containing 13 countries, ages 0-50yrs per month, and the corresponding mu&sigma (see below).
* I would like to limit the age range to include all 12 months for the 1st 5 years and only whole years for all ages thereafter for each of the countries present in the data frame.
* I would like to create separate data.frames according

rbind problem
In the new version 0.90.0, rbind won't take a vector and a matrix from me,
but works OK if I coerce the vector to a matrix. The following was run on
a new session (i.e., no prior work), and has been duplicated on 2
machines: an SGI running Irix 6.5, and an Intel box running Red Hat Linux
6.0.
Either case works fine in version 0.65.1.

Manuel

Weibull survival regression
Dear R users,
Please can you help me with a relatively straightforward problem that I
am struggling with? I am simply trying to plot a baseline survivor and
hazard function for a simple data set of lung cancer survival where
`futime' is follow up time in months and status is 1=dead and 0=alive.
Using the survival package:
