A chinese R-info page and a question
Dear R community,
I wrote and someone else helped me type a 5-page R-info in Chinese,
covering the most basic information on how to get and install
and start using R on Wintel PC.
This could serve those not fluent in/intimidated by
English but want to start using R.
(I met a lot of those in China)

functions for high dimensional integral
I need to compute a high dimensional integral. Currently I'm using the
function adapt in R package adapt. But this method is kind of slow to me.
I'm wondering if there are other solutions. Thanks.

Requested contexts didn't get merged
Hello,
I have two asterisk servers and I would like to merge their dialplans. I
thought DUNDi would be a natural choice.
I created the following configuration on the first server:
iax.conf
Code:

type=user
dbsecret=dundi/secret
context=dundi-local
dundi.conf

autokill=yes
cachetime=30
entityid=00:06:5B:8E:B0:08

IAX & WaitExten
Hello list,
I've got a problem (maybe only a problem of understanding how * works) with IAX and WaitExten.
To simplify the problem I've brought it down to the following scenario:
- 3 Asterisk Server A,B and C (central).
- A and B both register with C.
Now I want to be able to dial an extension at A to become connected to C and there I want to dial an extension to become connected to B.

Samba messing with PJL to printer
We have a Kyocera FS-3750 printer here that works fine from
Windoze (NT 4.0 and 98) clients if connected "directly" via the Windows
"LPR" interface but which spews out pages of garbage if spooled through
Samba 2.0.7 on a Solaris box. What happens is the printer for some
reason thinks it is being sent text but the first few lines are really

SA-12:04 commit on RELENG_8_1 incorrect?
Hi,
This was the commit of SA-12:04.sysret to RELENG_7_4, which makes sense
to me:
http://svnweb.freebsd.org/base/releng/7.4/sys/amd64/amd64/trap.c?r1=216618&r2=236953
But when it was applied to RELENG_8_1, it looks wrong, as if it was
applied in the wrong place. The indentation is broken, and the code
inserted looks like it wouldn't be effective:

iexplore ver 5.5 install can't load commctrl.dll
I have installed wine version 20020904 on:
Linux kernel 2.2.14
glibc 2.1.2
gcc 2.95.3
kde-3.0.2
WINEDLLPATH=/usr/local/lib/wine (set after wine was installed)
I commented out the code in cdrom.c that will not compile because of the old kernel (ie. references to SCSI_PASS). Wine will then compile and install and run.
I then installed all of the fonts from sourceforge. Then I tried to install

Trouble using 2 IAX2 DiDs provided by different ITSPs
Asterisk 1.2.7
Redhat 9
I have DiDs from two different ITSP both set up as IAX2. Each one
works when it's the only one in my iax.conf, but when I have them both
defined in iax.conf at the same time, only one will work. My iax.conf
is provided below.
Any ideas how to fix? I'd like to use both DiDs!
Thanks,

Commandos 2 sound issue
Hi,
Is there some people here play commandos 2 ?
I encounter a very nasty sound issue with it (and mainly only with it,
so it's not directly a wine issue), which is a bit well know but I see
no real workaround yet.
With ALSA, sound sample(s) is/are repeated more than just one time as
they should do, this makes briefing usable at all.
With OSS, it's a bit better, but some sounds are

Just to clarify - you rebooted the dom0/hypervisor also?
I know the bug is reproducible on every FreeBSD domU boot, at least.
