[PATCH] Report last-modified time of hive root and nodes
The infrastructure for modified-time reporting has been essentially
unused. These changes report the registry time by treating the
time fields as Windows filetime fields stored in little-Endian
(which means they can be treated as a single 64-bit little-Endian
integer). Some of the code changes necessary include:
* Exposing the hive_h structure in the hivex header file (via
generator.ml)

access the se of a forecast
Hi everybody,
I am currently trying to forecast some double seasonal time series by using
the function dshw. I want to access the standard errors to build the
confident interval for my forecast. I am using to following code :
fit<-dshw(eem,period1=7,period2=48,h=48)
then by using summary(fit), I see that my se are contained in the vector :
$s20
but when I call fit$s20, I get NULL.

Sequence for repeated numbers
Hello fellows,
I would like to create a sequence for repeated numbers in a dataset. For
example:
ID <- c(1:20)
grade <- c(4,4,4,5,5,7,7,7,7,8,8,8,9,9,9,9,9,10,10,10)
Data:
ID Grade
1 4
2 4
3 4
4 5
5 5
6 7
7 7
8 7
9 7
(...)
I would like to create a variable "sequence":
Data:
ID Grade Sequence:
1 4 1
2 4 2
3 4 3
4 5

[Hivex] [PATCH v3] Report last-modified time of hive root and nodes
The infrastructure for modified-time reporting has been essentially

time fields as Windows filetime fields stored in little-Endian
(which means they can be treated as a single 64-bit little-Endian

This patch adds to the hivex ABI:

[hivex] [PATCH 1/2] hivex: Expose hive major and minor version
The major and minor version were being reported in a debug message.
This patch adds the version information to the ABI and reports with

Patch to build hivex lib on Windows
Hi
I'm just posting this here in case someone is interested in building
hivex on Windows (mingw32). The attached patch allows building the lib
but not the tools (hivexsh etc..) as there are some more problems to solve.
In short terms, this patch replaces file i/o functions and mmap(),
munmap() with their win32api pendants.

different results across versions for glmer/lmer with the quasi-poisson or quasi-binomial families: the lattest version might not be accurate...
Dear R-helpers,
this mail is intended to mention a rather trange result and generate potential useful comments on it. I am not aware of another posts on this issue ( RSiteSearch("quasipoisson lmer version dispersion")).
MUsing the exemple in the reference of the lmer function (in lme4 library) and turning it into a quasi-poisson or quasi-binomial analysis, we get different results,

Joining uneven datasets
Hello,
I have quite a simple problem that I believe can be solved quite easily. I
have a dataframe as such:

BA.plot with logarithmic axes (MethComp)
Dear R-helpers,
I am trying to plot a Bland-Altman-Plot using the BA.plot function from the
package MethComp. While there is a function to transform the values for
analysis as shown in the snippet below, I would like to have logarithmic axes
for display as well. The usual log = 'xy' does not work because of the
properties of the y-asxis (positive and negative values). I am sure that

calc dist AB for B at levels of A
I have a question that I have been trying to figure out and I imagine
there is a very simple answer to it.
I am trying to use the distAB function in the clim.pact package
I have a dataframe with 4 columns in which A is ref pt and B is site
1. longitude of A
2. Latitude of A
3. longitude of B
4. Latitude of B
Problem is the columns are unequal in length
column 1 and 2 are length=29 and 3 and 4

SVAR Restriction on AB-model
Hello!
I'm doing a svar and when I make the estimation the next error message
appears:
In SVAR(x, Amat = amat, Bmat = bmat, start = NULL, max.iter = 1000, :
The AB-model is just identified. No test possible.
Could you help me to interpret it please.
Also I have the identification assumption that one of my shocks is exogenous
relative to the contemporaneous values of the other variables

Unable to join samba server to a NT4 style domain/Sam ba-Guide feedback
John,
The restrictanonymous setting was the primary culprit
in Ash's issue. I think he's using basically the same
setup as I am; no winbind/LDAP involved. I'm thinking
there's some initial handshaking that requires an
anonymous connection to PDC, and it's being blocked
if the restrictanonymous setting is too high.
I sent a note to Ash (& the list) asking for the

Possible (ab)use of lexical scoping in R ?
Dear list,
I wish to define a set of functions *auxilliary* to another set of
"main" ones, and I wonder if there is some "clever" way do do this using
lexical scoping. Looking for that in the list's archives did not get me
easily understood answers. Perusing MASS (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th
editions!) and "Programming S" wasn't of much help either...

Read.table not reading in all columns
Hello,
I am reading in a file called fit2.txt (Limma). fit2.txt has 38 columns but when I dim(fit2) I only get 6 columns. The first column that it does not read in is df.residual.
fit2<-read.table(fit2, file="fit2.txt",sep="\t",quote="",comment.char="",as.is=TRUE)
The first few lines of fit2.txt (does not include all 38 columns) looks like this:
