null hypothesis for two-way anova
Dear R community, Confused by some of my lab results I ask for the definition of the null hypothesis of a two-way analysis of variance in R (anova() and aov()). Starting with the following model y = a_i + b_j , i in A and j in B is the tested null hypothesis H_0: a_i = 0 for all i in A or H_0: a_m = a_n for any m and n in A? Consequently the same questions for interaction effects.

How to pass
HI! Have somebody an expample how the syntax is for passing the path of include files to: "If a package needs to specify additional directories for search- ing header les (`-I' options) or additional libraries for linking (`-l' and `-L' options), it should do this by setting the variables PKG_CPPFLAGS and PKG_LIBS in `src/Makevars'." But no examples. :-( src/Makevars.

rerender tcltk toplevel
Hi everybody, I am trying to write a simple progress display based on a tcltk toplevel. My first approach was to use the progressBar widget from the BWidget library but since this is not available on every system (missing on at least almost all windows systems, I guess...) I wanted to have a backup there. So my second strategy was to use a simple toplevel with a label and update the tclvariable

Connect to remote GW
If SIP channel driver needs to connect to a remote GW over a dedicated SIP trunk BUT the remote GW has a 'standby' in case of failure, how can the sip configuration file be configured for the remote GW when there are actually two IP addresses. If the main remote GW fails control automatically switches to the standby GW, so how could the SIP configuration file hande this switch and support
