Since the daemon links to pcre and use regular expressions, and since the COMPILE_REGEXP macro doesn't depend on any aspects of the library-side code (eg. the guestfs_h handle etc), we can allow the daemon to use the COMPILE_REGEXP macro. The output of btrfs subvolume list has changed in F18 to include generation, which breaks the parsing in btrfs_subvolume_list. This change replaces sscanf with a more robust regular expression. Dear R People: I am trying to build R-2.5.0 from source on a Windows machinee. I downloaded the tools and such, and started things off. I received some odd errors messages, looked on the R Search and found a similar problem. The suggestion was to re-load "ld.exe". I downloaded and installed everything again. Same problem. This change refactors guestfs___has_windows_systemroot to guestfs___get_windows_systemroot. The new function returns a dynamically allocated char * which must be freed. So PCRE dropped into R-devel recently, I tried just dropping 3.9 (latest version) into src/extra/pcre and compiling on Win32 but its dying during the final link (undefined reference to 'pcre_free') is there some special magic I'm missing or do I get to hunt this one down on my own?
