The printer is not printing however. I attached the printer to a windoze 98 box and I could print fine. I had printing on my previous system(FC3) but this isn't working. If I can't print

zfs going out to lunch
I''ve been writing via tar to a pool some stuff from backup, around 500GB. Its taken quite a while as the tar is being read from NFS. My ZFS partition in this case is a RAIDZ 3-disk job using 3 400GB SATA drives (sil3124 card) Ever once in a while, a "df" stalls and during that time my io''s go flat, as in : capacity operations bandwidth pool

ZFS vs. Apple XRaid
Hello all, After setting up a Solaris 10 machine with ZFS as the new NFS server, I''m stumped by some serious performance problems. Here are the (admittedly long) details (also noted at http://www.netmeister.org/blog/): The machine in question is a dual-amd64 box with 2GB RAM and two broadcom gigabit NICs. The OS is Solaris 10 6/06 and the filesystem consists of a single zpool stripe

Set nodatacow per file?
Hello, is it possible to set nodatacow on a per-file basis? I couldn''t find anything. If not, wouldn''t that be a great feature to get around the performance issues with VM and database storage? Of course cloning should still cause COW. Thanks, Ralf-Peter -- To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-btrfs" in the body of a message to
