I installed R-1.4.0 and then updated all the packages I have, using update.packages(). I got an error for splancs and sgeostat. I have columns of data in Excel 2007, A2:A196, B2:B196...ET2:ET196 that I would like to place into arrays in R. I have been trying to write a macro that would automatically create all of my arrays for me with a array names coming from the cells A1, B1, etc. I can manually create an array using RExcel<Put R Var< Array, but I don't want to manually create all 150 arrays this way. Hi, I have been trying to compile win, and to be honest, I am not real good at compiling, so when there is an error, I am left to hunting postings to try to find help. I lucked out and found a message thread with the exact same problem that I have, however, there was no response as to how to get around this. Any suggestions please would be greatly appreciated. Hi useRs, I'm trying for the first time to use a sem. The model finally runs, but gives a warning saying : "In sem.default(ram = ram, S = S, N = N, param.names = pars, var.names = vars, : Could not compute QR decomposition of Hessian. Optimization probably did not converge. " I found in R-help some posts on this warning, but my attemps to modify the code didn't change

I have tried beta2, beta3 and now back to 1.2.12.1 and I have correct DTMF tones 25% of the time. I have to call several times to enter an extension. I have a router and a packet shaper and some other stuff. Anyone have any other ideas why this might happen. I do not have any Zap channels but I am running CentOS4. I am having problems sending and receiving calls over the T1. They never seem to connect - outbound keeps ringing, inbound gets busy. The T1 looks ok - no errors on the line. Any ideas on what is wrong? I have tried a variety of fxsks and fxoks configurations without avail. This is a single asterisk@home system with a single T1 card. A simulator should be expecting the machine opcodes not macros. LD shouldn't care at all as long as the object format plays well. I would think it would be better to fix the simulator.
