dir list behavior differences?
Hello, I have set up an anonymous rsync server that seems to work as expected. However when I try to access the server from several other unix boxes using rsync with a command like this; rsync netlib3.cs.utk.edu::netlib I get the motd and then a line that states client: nothing to do Now I would expect this to give me a directory listing. I do get the directory listing as expected when

Hyper-dual numbers in R
Hi, Has anyone in R core thought about providing "hyper-dual numbers" in R? Hyper-dual (HD) numbers, invented by Jeffrey Fike at Stanford, are useful for computing exact second-order derivatives (e.g., Hessian). HD numbers are extensions of complex numbers. They are like "quaternions" and have 4 parts to them (one real and 3 non-real). They seem to be available in Julia.

Wine 1.00 the AppDB and State of the Winehq website.
In looking forward to the release of wine 1.0 I have a question about "Browse Applications by Rating" http://appdb.winehq.org/browse_by_rating.php When adding test data you can only add reports on what looks like the last 6 releases? Eg wine versions 0.956 / 0.957 /0.958 /0.959 /0.960 /0.961 Do these stat's on "Browse Applications by Rating" report this? If not what does

[menu] Bug: 'cm' is used before it is initialized
Hi, I'm seeing a problem on my system where the PXELINUX (and also the ISOLINUX) keep on prompting me the "Initial menu has no LABEL entries!" message, when vesamenu.c32 or menu.c32 is executed. After some investigation, I found that the global cm used in menu_main before it is initialized, and hence it carries a NULL value. I manage to get my system to display the menu after I

Creating very small plots (2.5 cm wide) in Sweave
Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone has any code they could share for creating thumbnail plots in Sweave. For example, I'd like a plot like the following: y <- c(40, 46, 39, 44, 23, 36, 70, 39, 30, 73, 53, 74) x <- c(6, 4, 3, 6, 1, 5, 6, 2, 1, 8, 4, 6) opar <- par(mar=c(3,3,0,0)) plot(x, y, xlab="", ylab="") abline(h=mean(y), col="red") par(opar)

segfault with chan_capi-cm 0.5.4
Hello all, i am using * 1.0.9 and chan_capi-cm 0.5.4. So far everything works good. But if i want to initiate an call over an capi channel either from the manager api or from an call file * quits with an segfault. If i do the same thing over sip channels everything works perfectly. Had anyone the same problem? I am using Linux Kernel 2.4.27 and an Fritz!PCI v2.0 Card. Thx in advance :)

chan_capi-cm and type of number problem (ToN)
Hi! I have problems with the ToN configurations in chan_capi-cm. I understand how incoming calls are rewritten using national and international prefix. But for outgoing calls - what is the ToN? Further, is there any debug info of the Ton? "capi debug" and the divactrl dchannel both show the CLI and CDLI, but do not show the ToN. How can I set the ToN? I suspect chan_capi to use the

AVM C2 chan_capi-cm-0.6.3 Error on Dial
I'm getting a strange error on one of the two controllers on an AVM C2 card under chan_capi-cm-0.6.3. I have two ISDN controllers defined, both in the same group, both connections are UK ISDN2e Point to Point: On the third outbound call (both of the first two calls are handled by the second controller "ISDN2",) I get this error : chan_capi.c conf_error 0x2001 PLCI=0x301

chan_capi [0.4.0|-cm-0.5.4] and Asterisk 1.2.0-beta1 - early B3 not early enough sometimes
Hi, I've just installed Asterisk 1.2.0-beta1 for the first time and downloaded chan_capi and compiled it in and run it. (For comparison purposes, I've tried this with both chan_capi-0.4.0PRE1 and chan_capi-cm-0.5.4 and chan_capi-cm latest CVS). Whilst most things are fine, it seems that if I specify the 'b' parameter in the dial string before the number, sometimes the early

Sweave, cm-lgc and minus signs
Hello, since a couple of days I'm trying hard to elicit a certain thing out of the Sweave function of R. Unfortunately I'm quite unsuccessful. It's only about a small, ridiculous minus sign, which does not appear in the final pdf of a latex file, if I try to incorporate the Computer- Modern fonts into the plot. It seems, that R uses different encodings for minus signs, which are put

Cisco CM 3.3 and * via h.323
Hello, I'm trying to connect Cisco Call Manager 3.3 with Asterisk using H.323 Gateway. When I place call from a SIP phone registered at Asterisk to SCCP phone at CCM I can hear the voice in both directions. But when I call from SCCP phone at CCM to SIP phone at Asterisk the voice goes from CCM to Asterisk only. All devices have real IP-addresses - no NAT is used. Asterisk console does not

chan_capi-cm-0.6: hangup is detected really late
Hi, the following szenario leads to a problem: I connect an CAPI channel to an AGI-Script per Manager API. This Agi script starts the MeetMe-Application. The Person on the Capi Channel is now able to speak with the other conferess in the MeetMe-Room. But if the CAPI channel hangs up, the busy tone is streamed into the MeetMe Room for several seconds, until the CAPI HANGUP-Signal is finally
