Hi everyone, I'm trying to create a small C++ program which embed R, but I'm having problems when I try to do it on Windows 64 bits. I have created a minimal reproducible example which is just the src/gnuwin32/front-ends/rtest.c file with the R_ReplDLLdo1() loop, the only difference is that I set the interactive mode to TRUE. calling R from within Java, using jri
Hi, I want to call R from within Java, using jri as per http://www.rosuda.org/software/jri/ So I am following the instructions in the README file for JRI 0.2-4. I have run 'sh configure.win' and 'make' and they seemed to be successful. (See below for the output from make, for example.) But when I try 'run.bat rtest' (with and without R command line arguments) the output

Dear All, I have a pair of .cpp and .def file can be compiled using VC++ and works perfectly well in S-PLUS. windows/g95 peculiarity
I'm not looking for an answer here, this is just a report of a peculiar event I've observed and can reproduce. I'm developing a g95 (20050129) compiled package on windows xp pro using R-2.1.1, and gcc-3.4.2 (mingw special). An older version of the F95 package compiled and ran without problems. The new version of the package includes extensive changes in the code. The package has a

Compiling "embedding R" examples
Hi, I am working at a major financial institution and we would like to embed R in one of our front office application. The application is written in C/C++ so I started by trying to compile the examples in "tests/Embedding" of R 2.0.1. I have modified "tests/Embedding/Makefile" according https://stat.ethz.ch/pipermail/r-help/2005-February/064341.html and set

Question on the R's C stack limit
Dear r-devel members, I encountered a C stack limit issue, when I tried to embed R 2.5 into my application. In the R-exts document, it says:"Note that R's own front ends use a stack size of 10Mb". I desire to know: is it possible to decrease this stack size by modifying R's source code? If it's possible, which part of the source code is responsible for the issue? Thank

To all TextMate users that wants to run tests with cmd + r in Rails 2.1 and above.
Because the require ''test_helper'' at the top of all the tests is relative now (it used to be something like require ''../test_helper''), you can''t just run the file with ruby anymore. And running the file with ruby is exactly what command + r does. Which means you can''t easily run your tests from textmate. The solution:

Getting JRI/rJava to work
Hello All I am trying to get the JRI examples from rJava to work on Windows XP and failing. (And as a more general and connected question is there any review/summary of front-end software for R?) I have installed rJava from the Windows binary supplied. I compile and run the example supplied (rtest.java) and get the results below. I do not think the notes about a deprecated API are a problem. But
