Help Need with aov()
Hi there,
I'm using R1.0.1 Windows 98.
This file contains some inputs and an aov function code. Can someone
check it for me? Somehow I got completely different answer when typing
them in R and in Splus.
Splus gives me this:
> summary( Turnip.aov )
Error: Blocks
Df Sum of Sq Mean Sq F Value Pr(F)
Residuals 3 163.7367 54.57891
Error: Plots %in% Blocks

: Experimental Design
Hi to all R lovers,
I am thinking of investigating and perhaps improve the anova "aov"
function in R. However before I do so I just like to see if anyone
knows whether R is capable of multiple comparison tests (eg "Standard
Difference of the Means, SED", "Fisher's Least Significant Difference"
...etc)? If it is, how can I do it?
Thanks.

[PATCH] Revert "drm/qxl: drop prime import/export callbacks"
This reverts commit f4c34b1e2a37d5676180901fa6ff188bcb6371f8.
Simliar to commit a0cecc23cfcb Revert "drm/virtio: drop prime
import/export callbacks". We have to do the same with qxl,
for the same reasons (it breaks DRI3).
Drop the WARN_ON_ONCE().

xm top shows high CPU load on domU when passed PCI NICs after hypervisor update
I am running a 64 bit dom0 with a stock Debian Squeeze xen hypervisor
and kernel. On top of this I am running a PV 32 bit domU that is
passed two PCI network cards. This set-up had been working well for
over a year, however there was a recent hypervisor update so I
rebooted the dom0. Unfortunately now the domU that is being passed
the two NICs is no longer able to create a PPPoe connection to

hi all,
i'v got a question here:
i'm writing a *.bat file using Rterm.exe to several simliar R files, which
all contain functions from some outside package (eg. quantreg). my question
is, how to invoke the package in my *.bat file.
Anyone give a hand to me?

blank/unblank should work simliar to bochs (see commit 250e743915d4),
that is maybe a nice thing to add of you modernize the driver anyway.

aov documentation page: question
Dear all
I was looking at the aov documentation page and came across the
following which seems like a contradiction to me:
" This provides a wrapper to |lm| for fitting linear models to balanced
or unbalanced experimental designs." (I presume 'This' refers to aov)
and
"|aov| is designed for balanced designs, and the results can be hard to
interpret without

[LLVMdev] How to define complicated instruction in TableGen (Direct3D shader instruction)
Each register is a 4-component (namely, r, g, b, a) vector register.
They are actually defined as llvm packed [4xfloat].
The instruction:
add_sat r0.a, r1_bias.xxyy, r3_x2.zzzz
Explaination:
'.a' is a writemask. only the specified component will be update
'.xxyy' and '.zzzz' are swizzle masks, specify the component
permutation, simliar to the Intel SSE permutation

Dear All,
Further to answers to sorting, can someone tell me how can I sort a list
that contains duplicates (name) but keeping the duplicates together when
sorting the values.
e.g., a data frame with name (in duplicates), Mvalues(may be different for
the duplicates)
name M
1234 8
1234 8.3
4321 9
4321 8.1
If I sort by M, it will be 1234, 4321, 1234, 4321 but I want to keep the
duplicates together,

find_by_sql vs connection.select_all
I was trying to do SUM based mySQL query simliar to the following:
SELECT SUM(updated_on - created_on) AS total from signups
If I were to run this command in the mySQL console I would get a
result. However, if I were to run it using the following command in
Rails:
Signup.find_by_sql("SELECT SUM(updated_on - created_on) AS total from
signups")
The query that is written to the log is:
