a beginner's question for window version of R
Hi, I just installed R0.64.2 on a Window NT PC. I am wondering how to increase the memory size like R --vsize --nsize on UNIX, for RGui.exe or Rterm.exe. Thank you for the help in advance. Programming puzzle...
Dear R guru's, I'd like to sort the columns of a matrix according to the elements in the first row, and in case of a tie according to the second row, etc. In case of a 3xn matrix woppa, something like colorder _ order(woppa[1,], woppa[2,], woppa[3,]) I just cannot seem to find a way to do this for a variable number of rows, e.g. if woppa has 10 or 15 rows I now manually cut and paste to

dict lookup from quota plugin
I am having trouble with using a custom daemon listening on a socket together with the quota plugin. My configuration is: quota = dict:User quota::dict:/tmp/dovecot-proxy-dict:: The problem is that dovecot sends keys without usernames, for example: priv/quota/storage Is it possible to get around this limitation without code modification? Also, is it planned to support the

Agent-based social simulation and R
Do anyone know anything about the use of R for agent-based social simulation? It should be possible, and would be convenient for the simple reason that there are several nice packages containing useful stuff for SNA (Social Network Analysis). Information about packages, web sites, experienced persons in the field, etc. would be very welcome. Tom

Problem picking up a call with PickUpChan or PickUp (asterisk-users Digest, Vol 43, Issue 1)
Hi, > Does anyone of you has a working configuration with SNOM phones that are > able to pickup a call from a flasing LED? Unfortunately (as far as I'm aware) this is a bug in the 1.4.17 release, and therefore I don't think any config changes will fix it. We've been told to roll back to our previous 1.4.13 installation. It also seems to manifest itself in "ghost

picking a NUMA cell for pinning using virsh freecell
Hi I'd want to pin the vcpu of a guest to a pcpu. the docs clearly say https://access.redhat.com/knowledge/docs/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux/6/html/Virtualization_Administration_Guide/ch09s04.html "Locking a guest to a particular NUMA node offers no benefit if that node does not have sufficient free memory for that guest. libvirt stores information on the free memory available on

Picking an open channel (FXO port) for outbo und calls
Thanks to everyone for your quick responses to this question. I'm very excited about the Asterisk project, and the growing community seems to be very active these days. Hopefully when the time comes for our county's transition to VoIP we may be able to go for an Asterisk-based solution. -- Tony Kava Network Administrator Pottawattamie County, Iowa -----Original Message----- From:

picking a cvs-head version
Hi all, Are there any good guidelines or resources for picking a relatively stable version of cvs-head? We're building a new server and need some of the features that aren't in stable, but the latest cvs-head crashes when trying to do a couple things we need. We were able to find when the features we need were introduced, but would like find a better method for finding a usable

X100P Clone not picking up incoming calls. [POTS]
Hello All, I have this strange problem, I can dial out with my sip phone and it seems to work relatively well, but when I call in, the line just rings and rings, I get no indication in asterisk that it's detecting an incoming call. The strange thing is that in ztmonitor 1 -vv the rx volume goes from around 99% when the line is idle to 0% as soon as the line starts ringing. I'm located
