Call getting disconnected in queue
Hi, I have a small call center with 4 Zap lines and 4 agents. Agents login using sip phones with AgentCallbackLogin. I occasionally gets a complaint that when customers call the call center, after the initial greeting is over the call gets cut after playing the thank you message. I started investigating and found that that happens when the call gets transferred to an agent who is making an

[Fwd: Asterisk client for ekiga.net NAT problem]
I am experiencing a "606 not Acceptable" error trying to set up an Asterisk server as an ekiga.net client. My server is behind a firewall with NAT routing. I have googled this problem and read about Asterisk feeding its local ip address to ekiga.net. That seems to be my problem. I tried putting stunaddr=stun.ekiga.net into the sip.conf file under [ekiga]. I also tried

Using the parallel port from domU
Hello I use xen and I am trying to use the parallel port of Centos 5.2 host from a Windows XP (HVM) guest. I have tried to transfer control of the port by blacklisting lp, parport and parport_pc + adding: ioports = [ "0378-037a" ] to the xen configuration file. However, in the presence of this line, xm create replies with: Error: function takes exactly 4 arguments (3

System with MGE UPS shuts down too early
OK. I'll try it, but it really puzzles me how the battery could have gone bad for just 15 months. The online power is pretty stable, so the battery hasn't gone through many charge/discharge cycles... Hello I've just been hit by one of the chipsets described at http://wiki.centos.org/HardwareList/RealTekRTL8111b. Because a) it does not work with the stock driver included in Centos 5.1 and b) I am very lazy and I do not like manually compiling modules each time a new kernel is installed (not to mention that I never forget anything, except for the important things which always go

cannot access samba from WfWg running trumpet winsock
Hi all! Here is my problem: I have installed RedHat Linux version 6.0 on a computer and I want to share its resources via samba. Unfortunately, my computer - which is running WfWg 3.11 for Eastern Europe and the trumpet winsock TCP/IP stack is not able to see the samba server. Other computers, running Win95, Linux and WfWg with M$ TCP/IP stack perform OK. I have tried the following combinations:

false low battery alarm
Hi, I have two types of UPS devices and one of them (APC) gave me a false "low battery" alert. I can't reproduce the problem... Also, there was nothing apparently wrong with the UPS at the time of the false alert. All I could do was grab the driver values within a minute after the "low battery" notification. These are the values: battery.runtime.low : 120
