CentOS-5.5 Live CD & netinstall
According to <http://wiki.centos.org/Manuals/ReleaseNotes/CentOSLiveCD5.5>
"There is a "Network Install" option on the Live CD
that is the same as our CentOS-5.5-i386-netinstall ISO".
I've looked quite carefully at my CentOS-5.5 Live CD (on a USB stick),
and I don't see a Network Install option anywhere.
Could some kind soul explain where it can be found,

Automated listing of translations on each wiki page
Dear all,
This is a continuation of the discussion on "Link to Chinese translation
in Wiki frontpage" dated 7 May 2009.
To re-cap, I have suggested that the patch in
http://moinmo.in/FeatureRequests/ThisPageInOtherLanguages can be used to
automatically generate links to translated pages at bottom right of the
wiki panel. In addition, I have proposed that the use of a dictionary

ACPI: Unable to find RSDP problem with centos 5.5 but not 5.3
Two more observations: (adding to my previous below email)
1) Centos 5.6 also showing the same ACPI errors as in CentOS 5.5
2)BIOS-E820 map has a difference in the first line: (0000000000010000
instead of 0000000000000000)
================================
- Centos-5.3 BIOS-E820 memory map is:
BIOS-e820: 0000000000000000 - 000000000009e000 (usable)

[LLVMdev] Reminder: 3.6 branch is coming
Reminder: The plan is to create the 3.6 branch next week, on 14 January.
Please help get the release notes and other documents updated. For
example, both the LLVM [1] and Clang [2] release notes look pretty
empty.
Also, if you'd like to volunteer to be a release tester, please let me know.
Cheers,
Hans

Does not auto boot after time out
I am having difficulty trying to figure out how to get a computer to
boot from it's local disk automatically after the pxe menu times out.
I installed syslinux-3.11-4 with yum onto CentOS 5.5
It boots to the local disk if I select Local from the menu and press
enter but it never times out and boots localy.
The AUTOBOOT message doesn't appear either.
Which instructions in the PXELINUX

Increased memory usage between 4.8 and 5.5
I'm running into a memory problem when trying to switch some web servers
that are running centos4.8/x86_64 to centos5.5/x86_64. The new servers
running centos5.5 are using a decent amount more memory than the
centos4.8 servers.
Here's an example from top:
--- centos 5.5 ---
$ uname -a
Linux ws51 2.6.18-194.17.1.el5 #1 SMP Wed Sep 29 12:50:31 EDT 2010 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

How do I put ldpaths in a specific place?
Hi Everybody,
I made R (v. 2.11.1) from source with the following config option:
./configure --prefix=/mnt/ami-centos5.5-64bit-base \
--exec-prefix=/mnt/ami-centos5.5-64bit-base \
--with-tcltk
All seemed to go well, but when I tested it with:
/usr/sbin/chroot /mnt/ami-centos5.5-64bit-base R
It told me:
/bin/R: line 217:

Opening of the Wiki - Part I
Good News, everybody!
Maybe not yet, though :)
There are two things I'd like to get at with this mail.
a) This also has something to do with Ned's mails from yesterday - we
have two FAQs at the moment (on www.centos.org and on wiki.centos.org)
and we want to unify those, if possible on the wiki. The one feature the
www version has and the wiki one doesn't is comments - and we really
