[offtopic] idea status.net
Hey all
I was sitting here thinking about things and I came up with an idea
that sounded, at least in my head, like a good one. There has been a
boom in things like twitter and brainbird and social networking setups
in general. I was wondering if the project or anyone would be interested
in setting up a status.net server specifically for the CentOS project ?
Why? you ask, well here are some of

Newsletter release nearly ready
Hey
So the Newsletter is finally pretty much finished. Could everybody
please just read through it again and make some adjustments. Further how
are the translations getting on? Unfortunately I either speak Chinese or
Spanish so could I get a heads up on status?
Further I am looking into a Newsletter meeting hopefully using VOIP,
everybody ok with that?
Next message will be the release :)

Newsletter feedback
Hey
We have now published the sixth version of the Newsletter and I think
it is time to ask YOU ( the reader ) what we can improve. The current
trend is away from really technical details more to a light read and
entertaining stuff. Is this a good way to go. Or should we focus more
on the technical side again*. Or is the balance right?
What do you want to read about? What sections do you want?

Looking for Newsletter Stuff
Hey
I want to start the next Newsletter early so it can be a little more
relaxed. The next release will be the 1. April.
I really need someone to *interview*, just drop me a mail and I will
send you a few questions. This can be anyone from the community that has
some sort of CentOS install.
And then I want to introduce a new section called DeskShot where users
can show off their workplaces.

Real world report for the Newsletter
Hey
The last "Newsletter survey" found that many people are interested in
how CentOS is used and what people do with it, I would like to invite
anyone who has some spare time or has something to share to write a
little article about how they are using CentOS.
I suppose interesting stuff would be how many machines, how you manage
them, what programs you use, stuff that has happened and

Newsletter 1002, Spanish version
Hello, I have just finished my Spanish translation of the last
Newsletter. As I have no edit rights to the proper zone, I have
written it into my own personal page
http://wiki.centos.org/EduardoGrosclaude. Please some elder member of
the familiy snip it off from there and hang it where it belongs. :)
I have not involved myself in prior proofreading, so this may be a bit
off. May I slip in a small

a few questions
Hello
I am curious about some articles I would like to contribute to the
wiki. I would like to add some articles about installing games, like UT,
Quake3 with the Urban Terror mod and Enemy territory. The question I
have is are these articles something that the group would like on the
wiki ? I know CentOS is more aimed at servers and sysadmins than home
user but there are some of us out there and

bug triage guide
Hello
I was wondering if someone could put together a bug triage guide and
put it on the wiki. I was looking for something to do tonight and z00dax
said go hunt some bugs. So I went first to the wiki to look for a guide
for a proper procedure on how the team would like bug triaging handled
but didn't find one. I have triaged before but i know every place is
different. So some guidelines

say this about rpmforge is because if you
