I need to make some comment on WineTools
I just red the article on the website about winetools. This is
controversy is a non starter in my oppinion. I believe that something
like winetools should be included in the wine distribution to begin
with. It should be something under the control of the developers
themselves and bug reports should be added to fix any problems. Why did
it take someone outside of the wine development team to

Cleaning up virt SIG related wiki pages
Hi all,
I took a little bit of stock in light of preparing the re-launch of the
Virtualization SIG as per the board decision recently and noticed that
there are quite a few old and out-of-date wiki pages lying around
In particular the following pages seem very old (Iast edited in 2007)

rcov seg fault
Hi
Trying to get rcov going (has been working), but with the following context
and specs it fails.

Attendee.new))
end

audit events confusion
On a rather full customer web server, I am trying to track down whose
web site script is trying to make outbound network connections when they
should not be. In /etc/security/audit_control, I added to the flags line
dir:/var/audit
flags:lo,aa,-nt
minfree:5
to log failed network connection. When I try an make an outbound
connection to something that is blocked in pf, it seems to sometimes
work.

[llvm-pdbutil] : merge not working properly
That’s a good question, by default when emitting the object file I choose
COFF but it embeds dwarf and not codeview in the end.. there probably is a
way to do it or at least it must be implemented if not yet..
Lets imagine I manage to do that.. when you say there is nothing to do, I
still must have a PDBFileBuilder to copy the codeview data inside the EXE
PDB right ? I cannot insert them easily in

[llvm-pdbutil] : merge not working properly
Ok I understand more what you meant. In fact I don’t care about the pdb
size, at least as a first step, so it won’t be a problem for me to have
duplicated symbols. Concerning TypeIndices my plan if possible is not to
generate a pdb for my jit and merge it, but instead directly extract debug
info from a DwarfContext just after llvm::object::ObjectFile is emitted by
the JIT engine and complete the

Ok I see..
what do you mean by “making sure to de-duplicate records as necessary” ?

RSpec 0.7.5 with Rails and rcov
I seem to be missing something because I am at a loss on how to get
rcov, RSpec, and Rails working together. Would someone mind dropping

[llvm-pdbutil] : merge not working properly
Hi Zachary !
If there a way to easily create a new PDBFileBuilder from an existing
PDBFile or can/should I do the translation myself ?
I would like to start from a builder filled with the EXE PDB data and then
complete its DBI stream with the JIT module/symbols.
Thanks !

[llvm-pdbutil] : merge not working properly
Hello Zachary,
Sorry for replying so lately but It's been a week I'm thinking an working
hard on your "dll memory buffer" idea to see if it works and give you
feedbacks !
And it works pretty well until now :
I shared on the list what I did :
- create a .ASM file full of "int 3" instructions (to ensure that if we
execute over the boundaries we instantly break.

How to handle INT8 data
Well I definitely cannot use them as numeric because join is the main
reason of those identifiers.
About int64 and bit64 packages, it's not a solution, because I am
releasing a dataset for external users. I cannot ask them to install a
package in order to exploit them.
I have to be very carefull when releasing the data. If a user just use
read.csv functions, they by default cast the

R-mailinglists will be "on hold" for a few hours on Saturday.
Our main server [www/ftp/mail] "stat.ethz.ch" (if you want to ping)
will be getting more RAM, new disks with new filesystems, etc.
This will start on Saturday July 24, 10:30 GMT+2 (=MEST) and last several
hours.
In case it would take more than 4 hours or so, you might get messages back
that you sent to the mailing lists R-help, R-devel, R-announce or R-core.
DO NOT REPOST THEM,

[llvm-pdbutil] : merge not working properly
(Yes you are right this is my fault)
Considering the string table, it only seems to contains file relative
informations in every pdb I am using, and it looks correct but I will check
it.
I looked at the pdb.cpp code about checksums and tables, I copied some
stuff and got things wrong according to cvdump, then I simplified the
process of copying the table and it worked (in cvdump it finds the file

Request for OpenSSL assistance (blocking I/O on Solaris)
Any OpenSSL I/O expertise on the list?
https://github.com/networkupstools/nut/issues/246
I admit that I am not an expert on this, but I can't seem to figure out how to force OpenSSL on Solaris into blocking I/O mode. (I was able to fix similar symptoms on OS X.) I would prefer not to wrap all of the client-side SSL I/O calls with while() loops. Any suggestions?

Sure. Along the way I’m happy to answer any specific questions you might

IAX Huge Delays after Hold or Transfer
In some configuration experiments, I have one IAX softphone connecting over
the internet to my Asterisk system. (I should note that, while there IS a
NAT firewall between Asterisk and the public Internet, I have port
forwarding set up on that firewall to send all IAX traffic to the Asterisk
machine.)
The IAX softphone connects to either an analog phone on an FXS port on the

[R-sig-hpc] Error in makeMPIcluster(spec, ...): how to get a minimal example for parallel computing with doSNOW to run?
Shouldn't -n be 4 in the bsub command?
One master+3 slaves. This was required for snowfall, but I think doSNOW
is similar.
Hope it helps
