GPL PV Intermitent Network Problems
Well, I seem to have developed a strange issue with the GPL PV drivers
in Windows. I''m running Xen 3.2 on SLES 10 SP2 and running some Windows
XP HVM domUs. Most (12-15) of my Windows machines work just fine. Two
of them, though, have started exhibiting a strange behavior with
intermittent network connectivity. Basically, the network starts up and
connects initially. After some

"Iomem mapping not permitted" during windows crash dump under GPLPV
I''ve recently noticed that my windows crash dumps fail at around 40-50%

At first I thought that the cause was just a bug in my grant ref code
but it just occurred to me that this could be happening when Windows

Scaling Memory at WIndows
Hello.
I am using XEN 3.4.2 and 4.0.1 with dom0 based on Centos 5.x and Debian 6.0.
I can scale RAM with paravirt domU''s by using xm mem-max and xm mem-set
But, I see this: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/hardware/gg487553 .
Is it possible to change memory at Window HVM domU''s without reboot?
Thans a lot!

Resizing a Xen DomU disk image
Hello Mailing List!
A quick question. Has anyone gotten a resize (in my case grown) a Xen
DomU disk image?
Here is the procedure I have followed:
1. Install a DomU using virt-install
Customize xvda to be all one partition ext3
2. On Dom0:
dd if=/dev/zero bs=1G count=1 >> <my_disk_image>
ll -h (Image is now 1GB larger)
xm create <DomU>

Bug#679533: Traffic forwarding issue between Xen domU/dom0
retitle Traffic forwarding issue between Xen domU/dom0
thanks
This week again this bug occurred again so we are trying to create some
kind of reproduce algorithm.
First we've created two virtual machines named
koekiemonster.bofh.hq.mendix.net and netappsim.bofh.hq.mendix.net. We've
added 29 vifs to koekiemonster.bofh.hq.mendix.net.
During this tests we've always had a ping

using 3.1.2 c/s 15490, xend hangs when attempt to start domain with more memory than available
Using 3.1.2 c/s 15492 on Unisys ES7000 configured with 32 processors and
128 gb memory, I attempted to start a 160 gb domU. The xm create
command hangs, as well as any other xm commands that are issued. If I
do ctl-c of the hanging xm create command, I am able to terminate it and
then xm commands are once again functional.
I expected to get an error that there was not enough memory available

Changing Xen hard memory limit in running domain
Hi,
I have a machine with 1G RAM, running Xen 3.0.1, and Linux.
I want to create two domU VMs and move ALL the memory, flexibly, back
and
forth between the two VMs.
To do this, I created two domU VMs running Linux, both with kernel boot
parameters mem=1G, to tell Linux to prepare memory tables for 1G RAM.
I booted
the VMs, with xm parameter ''memory=256'', i.e. telling Xen

centos 6 domU doesn't see all memory?
I'm running CentOS 6 x86_64 domU on CentOS 5 x86_64 dom0
The host is running 2.6.18-238.19.1.el5xen
The guest is 2.6.32-220.2.1.el6.x86_64
'xm list' on the host shows 512mb memory allocated.
'free -m' in the guest shows 224mb memory.
'xm mem-set 21 1024' (21 being the domU ID), 'xm list' now shows 1024mb, but in the guest I now see 736mb.
