Re: [GIT PULL] devel/pat + devel/kms.fixes-0.5 on RV730 PRO [Radeon HD 4650] Stack trace
Just surfing Net for 2-3 hr concerning "dracut" on Fedora 13. Several "warnings"  at the end of dmesg log. Seems like reaction on some system events scheduled to run on regular basis, but not user''s activity. [GIT PULL] devel/pat + devel/kms.fixes-0.5
Hey Jeremy, Please pull from devel/pat (based off your xen/dom0/core tree) which has one patch: Konrad Rzeszutek Wilk (1): xen/pat: make pte_flags(x) a pvops function. which is neccessary for the drivers/gpu/drm/radeon driver to work properly with AGP based cards (which look to be the only ones that try to set WC on pages). Also please pull from devel/kms.fixes-05 (based off your

ATI Radeon 4250 in Dual Head Config?
My xorg.conf foo is pretty weak today. Does anyone have an ATI 4250 in a dual head config? I'd be interested in looking over your xorg.conf. Sean p.s. Mine at the moment, that doesn't work very well: http://people.freebsd.org/~sbruno/4250_xorg_conf.txt

I know ATI is notoriously bad at supporting Linux but I was wondering how well this card works under Ubuntu. Does it support 3D rendering?

[LLVMdev] Pat<> & tlbgen
Can someone explain the magic behind the Pat<> construct and tblgen. >From X86InstrSSE.td: def : Pat<(v4f32 (vector_shuffle VR128:$src, (undef), MOVDDUP_shuffle_mask)), (MOVLHPSrr VR128:$src, VR128:$src)>, Requires<[HasSSE1]>; Where's the code in tblgen to emit the matching code for this? [LLVMdev] Matching an instruction that writes a specific register in a Pat<>
I can match an instruction whose result is always written to a specific register using set with that register as the first operand in the DAG pattern of the instruction. For example on the XCore the result of the the ldap instruction is written to R11 and used to match the tglobaladdr node as follows: def LDAP_lu10 : _FLU10< (outs), (ins i32imm:$addr),

Attempting to connect to an Empress RDBMS via RODBC 1.2-3 causes R 2.6.2.pat to segfault
Hi I've experienced some unpleasant behaviour while attempting to connect to an Empress 8.6.2 RDBMS via RODBC 1.2-3 and a freshly minted R 2.6.2.pat on a SLED linux system where a call to odbcConnect() to initiate the odbc connection causes R 2.6.2.pat to segfault. The odbcConnect call is CHANNEL <- odbcConnect("myEmpressDB", uid="myusername",

[LLVMdev] Pat operands matching example in ppc
Hi Anitha, memri is just describing that the address contains two components, an immediate and a register, and how to handle them in the instruction printer. The STWU expects a memri operand, and that is what is passed from the Pat. Hope that helps, Sam On 07/04/2013 10:19, Anitha B Gollamudi wrote: > Hi, > > > How do "Pat" operands get matched? Hi, How do "Pat" operands get matched? I am trying to follow the example given in http://llvm.org/docs/CodeGenerator.html#selectiondag-process In the latest trunk of ppcintrinfo.td following pattern is defined: def : Pat<(pre_store i32:$rS, iPTR:$ptrreg, iaddroff:$ptroff), (STWU $rS, iaddroff:$ptroff, $ptrreg)>; I understand that input operand list i.e. ins of

[PATCH] Disable PAT support when running under Xen (v1).
The issue at hand is that any prolonged usage of radeon or nouveau driver ends up corrupting the file system or we end up with mysterious crashes of applications. There are three ways of fixing it: a). A proper fix: https://lkml.org/lkml/2012/2/10/228 . I posted the same fix for 3.2 way back in December but it got nowhere. The recent posting has also been meet with silence. Not being happy
