[PATCH] Xen i386 xen-head.S fix sections mixup
Xen i386 xen-head.S fix sections mixup
xen-head.S does not come back to the data section, leaving the text section
as current section. It causes problems with a slightly enhanced DEBUG_RODATA
that supports CONFIG_HOTPLUG and bringing a CPU up after the text has been
marked read-only: reference to early_gdt_descr causes a page fault.
It applies on 2.6.22-rc2-mm2.

(marginal) dot diagram
I am attempting to plot something called a (marginal) dot diagram which is a regular scatterplot with an extra set of plots in the margins along both the X and Y axes. I have looked everywhere I can think for information. Can anyone give me any suggestions? Is there a single command that generates it or do I have to generate a regular scatterplot then add the additional plots in the margins?

Barchart questions
I am attempting to produce a bar chart and am having some trouble with the panel.barchart command. The definition of X is that it's the "proper extent of the bar". Is that the maximum value? Or is it the labels for my vertical axis, since the axes seem to be switched for this command? Is there a better/different command I should be using for barcharts (i.e. barplot)?
Thanks for your

CD sharing via iso9660, mounted, and samba
I have installed a small Limux box in my local primary school, in order
to sahre CD iso images.
The system works fine, untill several w/s's concurrently access the same
program , whereupon, we get spurious crashes. I have tried disableing
op-locks, which seemed to help, but only slightly.
Any suggestions gratefully received.

Rock Ridge for core/fs/iso9660
Hi,
i have now a retriever of Rock Ridge names from ISO directory
records and their eventual Continuation Areas.
Further i have a detector for SUSP and Rock Ridge signatures.
Both have been tested in libisofs by comparing their results with
the Rock Ridge info as perceived by the library.
50 ISO images tested. Some bugs repaired. Now they are in sync.

Bug#609517: xen-utils-3.2-1: Pygrub can't find grub.conf in a reiserfs partion on amd64 arch
Package: xen-utils-3.2-1
Version: 3.2.1-2
Severity: normal
Tags: patch
Hi,
There is a bug xen-3-3.2.1/tools/libfsimage/reiserfs/fsys_reiserfs.c,
it is using "unsigned long" which is 64 bits on amd64 arch and 32
bits on i386 arch.
This makes pygrub can't work on reiserfs on amd64 arch. You can easily
reproduce it.
A patch is included for fixing this problem.

Backporting Xen 3.1 to Etch
Hi,
this morining I was trying to compile xen 3.1 on my Debian Etch (AMD64).
I have a little problem with gcc-multilib. It depends on many packages
that don't exist in Etch. So I brutally remove it from debian/control
and then dpkg-buildpackage.
There was some warning on compilation:
dpkg-shlibdeps: warning: format of `NEEDED libxenstore.so' not recognized
dpkg-shlibdeps: warning: format

[PATCH 0 of 1 v2] tools: honour --libdir when it is passed to ./configure
I''ve removed all the LIBLEAF bits in this version, but kept passing
the libfsimage plugin location via compiler command line.
If there''s a better way to do this, I''m certainly open to it. But
looking at it further today I think this isn''t too horrible.

Step-by-step tutorial: Installing Xen 4.0.1 rpms on Fedora 13 with pvops Linux 2.6.32.x dom0 kernel
Hello,
I just wrote a step-by-step tutorial how to install the latest Xen 4.0.1 hypervisor
on Fedora 13 (x86_64) host from src.rpm packages, and the pvops dom0 kernel from git repository.
Check it out: http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/Fedora13Xen4Tutorial
It also shows how to install various Xen PV guests using the native distro installers:
- CentOS 5.5
- Fedora 13
- Ubuntu 10.04 LTS
