CentOS 4.4, libstdc++ 3.4.6 and NPTL
Hi,
I have been using CentOS 4 on a UML (User-Mode Linux) box for some time
(>1 year) and have kept up to date with updates. I think I started on
CentOS 4.1 and have progressively "yum update"'d since.
User-Mode Linux, or at least the version of it that my hosts use,
doesn't support NPTL. This hasn't been a problem to date; I've just
moved /lib/tls out of the way, as

Any chance to get a working, current openldap srpm/rpm for centos 5.5
Hello,
is there anyone out there, who has a current 2.4.23 srpm or good how to
compile it from src with supported db4?
I tried to compile recent source files, but always finding the current
(installed) db4 >4.3 fails.
Than I tried to compile the LTB Project Files:
http://ltb-project.org/wiki/documentation/openldap-rpm
May be it is just a small step or option to be set.
Would be nice to get

NPTL & Wine
Hi,
My main systems are Gentoo based. I am investigating switching to
NPTL on one of them that uses a couple of different versions of Wine
built from source. In doing the research I found that the Gentoo
ebuilds for Wine use NPTL. Does this mean that if I switch to NPTL
that I must recompile my source-caode based versions of Wine? If so,
can someone tell my what options I would use, most likely

Wine with NPTL
Hello,
I'm running Slackware 10.2 with kernel 2.4.31, and I'm trying to
install Wine. I have glibc vers 2.3.5. Linux thread libraries are
saved in the /lib directory, while NPTL libraries are saved in /lib/
tls. Other than the source I downloaded I have no other version of
wine on my machine.
I ran '.configure --with-nptl=/lib/tls' and everything seemed to
compile properly,

openldap-2.3.43 and db4-utils - DB_VERSION_MISMATCH
Hi,
I just started to set up a test ldap server and followed some tutorials.
One topic is the tuning/monitoring of the bdb.
So I installed the db4-utils and executed a "db_stat -h /var/lib/ldap/ -m".
The answere is no stat, but:
db_stat: Program version 4.3 doesn't match environment version
db_stat: DB_ENV->open: DB_VERSION_MISMATCH: Database environment version

Problems migrating from WBEL
Hi folks:
I've recently migrated one of my production servers (bad Jason!) from
WBEL to CentOS 3.3 using Donavan's instructions in the FAQ
(http://www.centos.org/modules/smartfaq/faq.php?faqid=19). While it
was as painless as the document suggests, I've run into problems with
postgrey (a postfix greylisting daemon) on my server. Whenever I try
to start postgrey, I get the
