Hi all, I have a little question about a problem i''m experiencing with the new xen 2.0.7: I installed in on a debian box, dom0 starts with no problem, also the domains i copied over from my 2.0.6 box start rightaway BUT: i needed a custom kernel (i want to play with PCI device acces in domU) so i grabbed the 2.0.7 source and compiled the 2.6.11-domU kernel (with the standard config)

Hi, Is there a reason that the allocate_empty_lowmem_region() function in hypervisor.c is only available in Domain 0. It is only included if CONFIG_XEN_PHYSDEV_ACCESS is defined, however, when I remove this it seems to work fine in DomUs. Rather than allowing only up to 256 VMs per host reboot before things start "acting strange" instead maintain a simple bitmap of used VMIDs and allocate them statically to guests upon creation. Hi, I tried to issue: xm save VMID FILE, and got the following error: Error: Error: [Failure instance: Traceback: twisted.internet.error.ConnectionRefusedError, Connection was refused by other side: 111: Connection refused. xm create works fine, xend is running on domain 0, I can log in the VM through xm console VMID and ssh without problems. I can also stop and restart the domain.
