Bug in use of grant tables in blkback.c error path?
In dispatch_rw_block_io after a call to HYPERVISOR_grant_table_op, there
is the following code which calls fast_flush_area and breaks out of the
loop early if one of the handles returned from HYPERVISOR_grant_table_op
is negative:

if (unlikely(map[i].handle < 0)) {

usb disconnects
Hello,

We have 2 exact same configuration: basic Fujitsu server + Eaton NV1000H

blazer_usb driver. I never tried nut before, so i read some of the docs,
and configured it manually.
The problem pops up when i try to simulate the power-outage. I just unplug

CentOS 6.6: Webcam problem
Last month we discussed the problems with webcams in CentOS 6 and I
raised Bugzilla #1158988 with Red Hat. This bug has now been declared
a duplicate of 1145805. Unfortunately I'm unable to access that report
so although I know Red Hat are looking into the matter I don't know
what they're doing.

USB frontend and backend disappeared from latest unstable tree
Hi Folks,
I just did a "hg pull -u" on my unstable tree and realized that the USB
virtualization related code disappeared (e.g.
/linux-2.6-xen-sparse/drivers/xen/usbfront/
and /linux-2.6-xen-sparse/drivers/xen/usbback/ directories are not present).
I traced the changes to the changeset 7027:06d84bf87159 which was committed
on september 22 by djm@kirby.fc.hp.com.

Problem making usbhid-ups working on Centos 5.7
Hello,
I've compiled and installed nut-2.7.2 on a Xen server (Actually XCP
1.6/Centos 5.7) to manage a Dell UPS 2700W.
Here is my ups.conf :
[SU27003U-08]
driver = usbhid-ups
port = auto
desc = "SU27003U-08"
52-nut-usbups.rules have well been installed in /lib/udev/rules.d/. I've put
it in /etc/udev/rules.d/ too.
I've rebooted the machine.

CentOS4 desktop has stopped recognizing removable media - haldaemon problem?
USB sticks and cameras used to pop right up on my desktop. Now they
don't. I've checked the Gnome "Drives and Media Preferences" and
nothing has changed -- I have "Mount removable media when inserted"
etc. (Tried toggling it off and back on, no effect.)
I've logged out and back in, even rebooted. /var/log/messages shows
the devices are being recognized by udev:

Thank you for your reply,
I'm still getting hard time to attach the hostdev, I couldn't make it work out of the doc.

USB Disk
I put a new server together with CentOS 4. This server is doing a number
of functions including ntp, mail, and web server. I had a USB drive
plugged in and it was working great. I could access it at /media/usbdisk
and I copied lots of data to it.
I felt the server was "complete" so I wanted to move it. I shut it down,
moved it, etc. Everything is ok, except that I cannot access the
