Convert ftable to latex?
Dear list, I cannot make the latex command to output a ftable objet the way I want it. Is it posible? I found a post in the archives saying that one should use the rgroup and n.rgroup arguments to supply the row names, but so far I have been unsuccessful. This is what I have: >

Reproducible research
I am investigating some approaches to reproducible research. I need in the end to produce .html or .doc or .docx. I have used hwriter in the past but have had some problems with verbatim output from R. Tables are also not particularly convenient. I am interested in R2HTML and R2wd in particular, and possibly odfWeave. Does anyone have sample documents using any of these approaches which

Dear R users: When I create a table without Major Column headings, my *regular* column headings appear correct in the typeset latex file. The major row heading and row groups are as they should. w <- latex(mytab,title="",file="tab/my.tex",ctable=TRUE,caption="Descriptive statistics by

page boundaries for latex printing of summary.formula objects in Hmisc
Hello, Warning, I'm guessing only those who have used the Hmisc package's summary.formula function with LaTeX will be able to offer much help here. I am using the Hmisc package's summary.formula function to produce tables for a LaTeX report. The "latex" function in the same package supports longtables in LaTeX. Ideally, I would like for page breaks in the LaTeX output

Frank Harrell rote in a message dating from Oct 8th: > n.group is an argument to latex.default in the Hmisc package I must admit that I can't find it in the function head, which reads on my installation: function (object, title = first.word(deparse(substitute(object))), file = paste(title, ".tex", sep = ""), append = FALSE, label = title, rowlabel = title,

ascii package updated
Hi, I have uploaded a new version of the ascii package, it should be availble on CRAN soon. Major new features are: - pandoc support (http://johnmacfarlane.net/pandoc/) - an alternative to the Sweave "way" to create reports: see ?Report. This feature needs a working installation of asciidoc, txt2tags and/or pandoc. It becomes increasingly difficult for me to maintain and test all

Formatting cgroup and factor level labels in Hmisc latex function
I'm trying to typeset at simple crosstable with the Hmisc latex function. And I have two problems. 1. How do I make all columns the same width? The Latex function seems very unwilling to break the 'cgroup' labels and the factor level labels. Please have look at this screenshot that shows my problem: >> http://hem.passagen.se/stpe9096/table.png So, how can I make sure that the

Several problems with hmisc latex function
Hi, I'm having several problems with the Hmisc latex function. First, there seems to be a conflict between the cellTexCmds and the cgroupTexComds. When I'm using both at the same time, I get an error message. Here's an example. I just added cellTexComds to the example on page 10 of this document: http://biostat.mc.vanderbilt.edu/twiki/pub/Main/StatReport/latexFineControl.pdf x

[LLVMdev] [cfe-dev] Do you use UML utility programs?
Hi Sean Silva and people on our list, >> What tools did you use to generate the diagrams for the klang documentation? I use StarUML. ( http://staruml.sourceforge.net/en/ ) I mentioned about this earlier before on this mail-list. It's a Windows only application and free software. It is good SW. But development is stopped since long ago. The product was originally a commercial one. But

[LLVMdev] Develop on trunk.
All sounds good to me. I actually did try to follow the Python style when I used the ^^^ thingies for the questions (they're called subsubsections). 4. I'm not sure exactly how to markup the questions. The sphinx FAQ ( > http://sphinx.pocoo.org/faq.html) marks it up as a definition list > (ctrl-f "definition list" http://sphinx.pocoo.org/rest.html).
