invalid pointer in libxml xmlFreeNodeList
Hi, Not sure if there is a better place to post this. The libxml-ruby mailing list doesn''t have much activity. We are getting occasional errors on our production box, that I can''t duplicate in testing. It''s not even reproducible on the production box with the same inputs, but I''ve managed to track down (via a lot of print statements into the Apache

Scheme extension language plugin.
I've put a scheme plugin in users/racarr/compiz-scheme on gitweb.open-compositing.org. Essentially it allows the user to define a startup file (~/.compiz/startup.scm) and fill it with scheme code to do neat things and extend Beryl. On one hand it acts like a super powered state plugin, on the other it lets you define useful behavior specific to what you do with your Compiz and share these

[LLVMdev] RegAllocSimple doesn't work
I tried both the most recent version of "simple" register allocation and the one from last August, and neither seems to work correctly (they run, but produce bad output). I used them to compile an old version of the Unix "replace" utility (source code attached). Here's how I created the executable: llvm-gcc -emit-llvm -O0 -c replace.c -o replace.bc opt -mem2reg

Problem with Ferret on OS X with Locomotive
I am using Locomotive 2.0.8 with Rails 1.2.3 for development. It works great. I recently installed Ferret 0.11.4 as a gem. The installation seemed to go fine. No error or warning messages. I setup a test rails app to try Ferret, and the server won''t start. The error I get is /Applications/Locomotive2/Bundles/rmagickRailsJan2007_x86.locobundle/

Recent crashes
Hi, After figuring out the strange "rdoc" related crashes yesterday I''ve really started to test out puppet today. However, as my manifests become more complex I''m back to seeing random crashes again. I read the recent message in the archives of this list about downgrading to Debian''s libruby1.8-1.8.4-1 but it seems like only the "-5" version is in

install ferret on windows
Hi! I''m trying to install ferret on windows, so I chose ferret-0.10.9-mswin32.gem from the download page, as it includes a already pre-compiled ferret_ext.so (is that correct?) and I don''t have any C compiler here. The gem installed it correctly, but the test didn''t work. So I called these commands: rake ext ruby setup.rb config ruby setup.rb setup ruby setup.rb
