Duke Nukem MP
Hi,
I tried to install Duke Nukem Manhattan Project (which should just
run fine according to wine's appdb and frank's corner) but while
loading the msi-installer wine gets stuck and prints out these
messages:

my current card is a 128 meg nvidia geforce fx 5200 and i have a viewsonic
vp201s lcd monitor
are their larger memory AGP cards worth buying? i have no idea
it will be for serious CentOS and Win XP integration and testing and
eventually production issues...

Problem with Install R on Linux Ubuntu 16.04 Xenial Xerus

No.
User error (with apt-config files) is orthogonal to release quality.
And FWIW some people seem to be quite positive on 16.04:

more reassociation in IR
1. The reassociate pass that exists right now was *originally* (AFAIK)
written to enable CSE/GVN to do better. That particular issue is solvable
in other ways, because there are good ways to integrate reassociation into
CSE/GVN (and at this point, it would probably be cheaper than -reassociate
since it would modify code less, only changing it when there are actual
redundancies )
I don't know

New glibc for CentOS-6 and CentOS-7 and CVE-2015-7547
I normally just let the daily announce post to this list show what is
available for updates, but there is a CVE (CVE-2015-7547) that needs a
bit more attention which will be on today's announce list of updates.
We released a new glibc yesterday for CentOS-6 and CentOS-7 .. it is
VERY important that all users update to these versions: This update is
rated as Critical by Red Hat, meaning that

webmaster help needed - call for volunteers
Dear Community,
Xiph.org has a serious need for some webmasterly help, and currently
no one actively involved has the time to fill such a role. We are
hereby asking if there are any volunteers in the community who would
like to help out in this capacity, possibly as part of a webmaster
team (depending on response). This job pays in karma only,
unfortunately.

Agreed. The original mindset included a (naive) belief that going with a canonical form was better than teaching redundancy elimination to handle abstractions (as a matter

[nbdkit PATCH] ocaml: Support .preconnect callback
Somewhat of a mishmash between .open (in that it takes a bool readonly
parameter) and .config_complete (in that the C code returns an int,
but the Ocaml code either throws an exception or completes with unit).
I did not spot any existing testsuite coverage to modify for this, and
am relying on the fact that it compiles cleanly.

duke nukem manhattan project - doesn't see the CD
Hi
I've successfully installed Duke Nukem Manhattan Project, but when I try to start it, it prompts for the CD, although the CD is in the drive and the drive is set up properly in Wine settings. It seems people have run the game successfully on wine, so perhaps someone's got a clue about this issue. Thanks for any help!
