Hi all,
I don''t know if my question doesn''t related to xen at all, how ever I am
trying to use DRBD as my disk replication when I ran Remus. However when I
run remus sometimes my Dom-U will be freezing. I see the log file and it
seem caused by drbd frozen :

How to enable remus support for jeremy's xen.git xen/stable-2.6.32.x
Hello guys,
First of all I need remus support for a Debian 6 system (kernel 2.6.32-5 : Xen-4.1.1). Debian-customized kernels don''t actually
support remus. There''s a patch here: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=608988 that suggests adding the support
for upcomming releases of the kernel, yet only in the wishlist.
I have downloaded jeremy''s xen.git

Xen 4.0 with Remus on Suse 10.1??
Hello,
I am trying to set up a Xen/Remus test configuration on AMD64 hardware
(HP DL380 G6) under SuSE 10.1 and am having trouble.
I was able to run and configure the Xen 3 that came with SuSE fine, but
as far as I can see, I have to use Xen 4 to get Remus.
I managed to build Xen 4 from source and it seemed to install, but I am
not sure how to get the proper kernel and/or initrd files in place

Remus
Hi everyone
I've installed package xen-hypervisor-4.0-i386 (and related) on debian squeeze, using the available debian packages.
According to the Remus website http://nss.cs.ubc.ca/remus/ and xen websites, remus (binary) should be available since xen 4.0.1.
I can't find the binary though.
I have installed:

Xen4, remus and LVM questions
Hello
I successfully upgraded to xen 4.0 on my Gentoo servers and I''m trying
to use remus to enhance servers'' HA.
first of all: I''ve tried remus with --no-net option just to test and it
works fine, if I try to run it without that option it just stops
claiming that no sch_queue module can be loaded.
That module is present in xen 4.0 source tree, but my gentoo seems not

BLKTAP
I noticed recently that there is no real easy way to get the kernel driver
for blktap working in mainline. I''ve pulled down the source from Daniel
Stodden''s linux git tree on xensource, but it looks like it''s for debian and
I''m running Fedora 14, so I''m trying to sort it out. I run the 3.1.x kernel
and don''t want to go back to the 2.6.32 that

How to install pv guests with tap2:aio for remus
Hi Guys,
I''m working with:
1. xen 4.1;
2. dom0 ubuntu kernel 3.2
I''m trying to run remus with disk replication (I can run without disk
replication). But I read I need to use tap2 <

Well... first I tried to create a pv guest. Then I take this guest.cfg:

Xen4 + Remus + iSCSI
Hello,
we are using debian, xen 3.x and a iscsi-storage with ext4 as filesystem.
Heartbeat is used for xen-ha.
Now we like to change to xen 4 and remus.
The iscsi SAN is available on active-Dom0 and backup-Dom0.
I don´t have to use the disk buffering, as I understand remus right, because
the file system on both machines is the same.
With ext4 we don´t had problems at the xen3-Cluster on

Xen and Remus
Hi,
we''re playing around with XEN (kernel 2.6.32) and REMUS. For us, sees this combination of very interesting and we would like to use the productive. However, the configuration is a great effort and often leads to problems. Until the first test position ran, it took several tries.
As the further development of REMUS is planned? I''ve read that it will soon be over

Does remus support Java?
Hi,
We''re trying to use remus for some fault tolerance experiment. We followed the instructions and finished installing and configuring Remus on Xen 4.0.1. We succeeded when running a very simple Linux script on domU: we saw the same domain created on the backup machine. But when we tried to run a Java database benchmark, the dom0 OS crashed on the primary machine. Does anyone have any
