Is is possible to use the latest changeset and old linux kernel?
Hi, I tried to use the latest changeset of xen-unstable with an old linux kernel (2.6.16.33), because some of my codes are developed based on that Linux version. It seems that 2.6.18 changes quite a bit interfaces from 2.6.16.33. I set the "LINUX_VER = 2.6.16.33" in the file "buildconfigs/mk.linux-2.6-xen". When I did "make world", the xen builder did

How to enable remus support for jeremy's xen.git xen/stable-2.6.32.x
Hello guys, First of all I need remus support for a Debian 6 system (kernel 2.6.32-5 : Xen-4.1.1). Debian-customized kernels don''t actually support remus. There''s a patch here: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=608988 that suggests adding the support for upcomming releases of the kernel, yet only in the wishlist. I have downloaded jeremy''s xen.git

Xen 4.0 with Remus on Suse 10.1??
Hello, I am trying to set up a Xen/Remus test configuration on AMD64 hardware (HP DL380 G6) under SuSE 10.1 and am having trouble. I was able to run and configure the Xen 3 that came with SuSE fine, but as far as I can see, I have to use Xen 4 to get Remus. I managed to build Xen 4 from source and it seemed to install, but I am not sure how to get the proper kernel and/or initrd files in place

Xen4, remus and LVM questions
Hello I successfully upgraded to xen 4.0 on my Gentoo servers and I''m trying to use remus to enhance servers'' HA. first of all: I''ve tried remus with --no-net option just to test and it works fine, if I try to run it without that option it just stops claiming that no sch_queue module can be loaded. That module is present in xen 4.0 source tree, but my gentoo seems not

Remus
Hi everyone I've installed package xen-hypervisor-4.0-i386 (and related) on debian squeeze, using the available debian packages. According to the Remus website http://nss.cs.ubc.ca/remus/ and xen websites, remus (binary) should be available since xen 4.0.1. I can't find the binary though. I have installed: ii libc6-xen 2.11.2-7 Embedded GNU

BLKTAP
I noticed recently that there is no real easy way to get the kernel driver for blktap working in mainline. I''ve pulled down the source from Daniel Stodden''s linux git tree on xensource, but it looks like it''s for debian and I''m running Fedora 14, so I''m trying to sort it out. I run the 3.1.x kernel and don''t want to go back to the 2.6.32 that
