Re: Wine on OpenBSD
Greetings: I'm an OBSD n00b and an ex-Fedora User. Had my share of problems with Wine on OBSD myself. I was able to build and install after obtaining the source using git; but there seems to be some other memory allocation problems. OBSD has version 0.9.9 in their directories, and the Openports.se has designated 1.1.21? as being on their tree; but I'd rather not regress to those

Apple movie trailers on Centos6/Firefox
Hi all! Once again, Apple has messed with their trailers/website such that I can no longer play their trailers on Centos 6 (note that it still works fine on my two Fedora machines, F17 and F19, without any special settings. on Centos, I've long ago found that by setting the user agent to certain values I could make it work, but now that no longer helps. when I try to view a trailer all I get

OpenBSD again
Hello, I have been looking through the mailing list archive and I have read about ppl writing about porting OpenBSD to Xen but I don''t if they really started porting it. I would like trying to port OpenBSD to Xen, it is a good challenge. If someone is already working on it I would be more than pleasure to collaborate with. Thank you very much for your time. Best wishes, Gabriel

Any ideas? Thanks in advance. -- Sergio Roberto Charpinel

lots of silence
yeah, tnx very much, i think the problem is solved now, i thought idd it was something with the mp3's but i didn't knew what. >Hi: > >Well, I've tuned in and not struck the problem as yet. But I'm guessing >that the problem is that the problematic songs aren't at the same sampling >rate. The three songs I've heard so far are at 32kbps 11.025khz stereo.

[PATCH 3/3] Add support for OpenBSD
Hi! This is the third and last patch. This patch makes the xen kernel buildable on OpenBSD by adding support for ProPolice. ProPolice has been added to standard GCC in version 4.1.x under the name Stack Smashing Protection (SSP). ioremap()
I used ioremap() function to map the memory behind a PCI device to the processor main memory. How could xen be forced to use this mapped section for allocating memory for all DomU guests? Where in xen source code the respective modification has to be made? regards, Dinesh C _________________________________________________________________ Timely update on all current affairs, sports, events

Ogg Vorbis and DirectSound streaming
hi, I downloaded the vorbis-sdk-1.0rc3 and wrote an application that plays ogg files using DirectSound(win32 application). It uses streaming technique - I'm implementing and passing IStream interface to the DirectX. The interface is used by DirectX to fill his buffers during playing. DirectX is assuming that it's readind from a wav file, so the interface decodes on-the-fly so that
