Bug#571634: xen-utils-common: using --physdev-out in the OUTPUT, FORWARD and POSTROUTING
Hi! Someone asked me in private if I had found a solution to my problem with forwarding in DomUs. [1] In fact I did and I've just filled a new bug report [2] and will try to work it out. Just dropping this here in case someone else is interested. Bug#571634: xen-utils-common: using --physdev-out in the OUTPUT, FORWARD and POSTROUTING
Package: xen-utils-common Version: 3.4.2-3 Followup-For: Bug #571634 I can confirm that this bug not only exists in the current version but that it makes a DomU which forwards packets unusable. Other "simpler" DomUs which do not forward work perfectly. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0.4 APT prefers stable APT policy: (1000, 'stable'), (100, 'testing')

compiling a non-pae dom0 on a dell r710 with too much ram
Hi, I''ve got a brand spankin new dell r710 with loads of memory on it, except that I really want it to behave more like an older machine with only 4G of RAM. I''ve been trying to compile a dom0 without PAE for it and can''t seem to have much success. I''ve constantly modified the kernel config to turn off PAE and it either gets clobbered when I do a make

Re: [nut-commits] svn commit r710 - in trunk: . clients server
Great, thanks Arjen! Now we need an autoconf test to set HAVE_IPV6 automatically. I will look into what functionality needs to be tested; the test can be refined as problems arise later. -- Peter Arjen de Korte wrote: > > Author: adkorte-guest > Date: Sat Jan 6 19:39:08 2007 > New Revision: 710 > > Modified: > trunk/ChangeLog > trunk/clients/upsc.c >

Xen4, remus and LVM questions
Hello I successfully upgraded to xen 4.0 on my Gentoo servers and I''m trying to use remus to enhance servers'' HA. first of all: I''ve tried remus with --no-net option just to test and it works fine, if I try to run it without that option it just stops claiming that no sch_queue module can be loaded. That module is present in xen 4.0 source tree, but my gentoo seems not

New 3.10.18 Kernel for Xen4 needs testing
For anyone who is using our Xen4CentOS6 repo, we have created a new kernel from the new LTS 3.10.x kernel tree (to upgrade the current 3.4.x xen kernel) that we hope to roll into the production repo. Please look here and test the kernel, libvirt, and xen files there: http://dev.centos.org/centos/6/xen-c6-RC1/ That repo should be able to be used for testing or it should be able to update a

Is there any intent to keep that 3.18 kernel up to date with security patches, or is it just intended for testing? -- Bob Nichols

xl stack problems on CentOS6 XEN4
Hi George, I already outlined the drbd-stuff on xen-users (see attachement). Yes - elrepo is right on mark. Excerpt: "The script (/etc/xen/scripts/block-drbd) I am using is from drbd84-utils-8.9.2-1.el6.elrepo.x86_64 - and already seems to contain the "drbd or phy" case; both in the add and the remove branch. I have signed and pushed the libvirt-1.2.15-3 and kenel-3.18.12-11 RPMs into the xen4 repository for CentOS-6.6. These have been in virt6-testing for a few months now with no negative reports. They should be available on mirror.centos.org in 30 or so minutes and externally as those mirrors update themselves against mirror. Thanks, Johnny Hughes -------------- next part -------------- A
