Hi, I believe I can post this here. I have a domU ( Redhat 6) running in Paravirt mode. When I migrate this domU to another host, looks like the domU is freezing in the other host. I am using Xen 3.1.0 in centos 5.4 I have one VM consuming 100% cpu  and all other VM (linux) become very slow (no ssh and vnc access). I could access host via ssh but not VM. host cpu is about 95% idle using dstat. There is Convirture and ovirt, http://virt-manager.et.redhat.com/ and http://www.openxenmanager.com/ eucalyptus? and opennebula? Can Some One recommend about a good tools for this? Thanks

hi folks, after upgrading the host, hp dl 160 g6, from 24 gb ram udims to 36gb ram rdims my debian wont start up anymore. the debian crashes and reboots after starting to load xen drivers. when i boot my debian host with the default kernel, no problem, startup and loging ok. any glue from anyone? thanks a lot for some hints :-)

We trying to test XCP cloud under some product-like load (4 hosts, each with 24Gb mem and 8 cores) But with just about 30-40 virtual machines I got an extreme load on dom0 on pool master host: LA is about 3.5-6, and most time are used by xapi and stunnel processes. It''s really bother me: what happens on higher load with few thousands of VMs with about 10-16 hosts in pool...

I think I wrote not very clearly. I say ''swap in domU will save in case lag or little mistake with balloon''. If course, there is no any kind of ballooning for dom0. Right now we running pretty much VMs for our cloud services and we use heavy memory management (it grabs and gives memory with lag less then second depends on usage in customers VM). I got really strange situation with memory on host: xe host-list params=memory-free memory-free ( RO) : 10305536 (10Mb) xe host-compute-free-memory 3147059200 (3Gb) A huge difference! This is probably a really stupid question, but what happens if you have more memory allocated to domU''s than your physical RAM? Will that cause dom0 to crash? DomU''s to crash?
