Clone Xen Guest (LVM)
Hi all,
i would liḱe to clone a virtual machine from a Sles 10 SP 2 server to
a Sles 11 server.
My Xen-guest runs on Sles 10 SP2 in a Logical Volume.
If i copy all files on a other lvm on the sles 11 server, it starts
only in the console.
On first tests i got some errors on boot. But after i add the old
kernel it starts normal in the console but not with kde and right
network connection.
What did

How to get MSS value for individual clusters.
Hi there,
I am working on clustering genomic data. I am using HOPACH method for
clustering.
I have a query here. How can i get SS (split silhouette) value for
individual clusters. What I am getting as MSS value, is Mean of all SS value
of individual cluster. Hence I am getting single value for a gene set. But I
would be very helpful for me if I get silhouette value for individual
clusters.

child killed by signal 6
Hello,
from time to time I keep getting problems with some emails causing
signal 6. I've already reported those, but it seems not to be easy to
find the cause. From the logs, it seems to occur in sieve implementation.
I've checked the email envelopes tody by accident, probably this part of
my telnet session might help:

Options for a "I'm done" flag file
rsync -av /src/ /dst/ && touch /dst/done
That should do it as the touch only happens if rsync exits with a code of
0. If you need to consider other non zero exit code, it is still doable,
just a bit more shell code.
There are surely other options as well, but this is probably the most
simple.

Grandstream bin cfg.txt generator
Hi,
I needed to create config files for downloading to Grandstream devices and made a little script for it. It seems to work fine for the HT486.
The script needs a config file (cfg.in) which is in this format:
P2 = blah
P10 = hrm
...etc...
The configfile may contain comments (starting with '#') and empty lines. Mind that the 'gnkey=0b82' shouldn't be in the configfile, as

unicorn 0.94.0 - small fixes and new features
Unicorn is a HTTP server for Rack applications designed to only serve
fast clients on low-latency, high-bandwidth connections and take
advantage of features in Unix/Unix-like kernels. Slow clients should
only be served by placing a reverse proxy capable of fully buffering
both the the request and response in between Unicorn and slow clients.

[LLVMdev] Bitcode parsing performance
Hi all, I'm trying to reduce the startup time for my JIT, but I'm running
into the problem that the majority of the time is spent loading the bitcode
for my standard library, and I suspect it's due to debug info. My stdlib
is currently about 2kloc in a number of C++ files; I compile them with
clang -g -emit-llvm, then link them together with llvm-link, call opt -O3
on it, and arrive
