OpenSUSE 11.4 (2.6.39-30.1), Xen 4.0.2 - Device 0 (vif) Could not be connected
All, This is a fresh, un-f#$ked-with OpenSUSE install after adding the Tumbleweed repository and doing a dup. I installed the Hypervisor with Tools for which it prompted me for Xen or QEMU and I chose Xen. No bridge was made. When I go to create a fully virtualised machine, it nao has the error: Error: Device 0 (vif) could not be connected. Could not find the bridge, and none was specified.

Vif only accepts connex after talking out of domain.
My domains dont see any traffic until you try to connect out from within the domain. Tried this several times and it was consistent. I have no firewall either. running each domain on different cpu probably doesn''t help, although Im no network expert. Here is some info. ================ [root@a root]# xm info system : Linux host : a.b.com release

Emergency help needed on host network randomly stop working.
Hi, This is a Centos 5.5 host with one xen guest. About 2 weeks ago, the host randomly lost network connection. By this I mean I could not connect to the services on it, or ping it. Also was the status of the guest. From serial console, I connected to the host, trying to see what happened. No clue (any error messages) in messages or dmesg. ifdown/ifup the interface did not help, either. Only

Re: Fwd: Device 0 (vif) could not be connected. Hotplug scripts not working.
I am wondering  what would happen when attempt to create Debian PV DomU at Xen 3.3.1  Suse 11.1 Dom0 via debootstrap , the native way of install  Debian (Ubuntu)  PV Guests  for Xen Systems. I beleve deboostrap RPM for Suse should be on the Net Boris. --- On Sat, 7/11/09, cmasmas cmasmas <cmasmas10@gmail.com> wrote: From: cmasmas cmasmas <cmasmas10@gmail.com> Subject: Re:

Xen Starting DomainU:Error: Device 0 (vif) could not be connected. Hotplug scripts not working
hi, I am trying to start a new domainU but got the error: Error: Device 0 (vif) could not be connected. Hotplug scripts not working I have struggled with it for a long time. I found somebody else report this but can not find a solution. The xen version is xen-3.0 latest version. I do not have a initrd. Domain0 works fine but when I create a new domain, it always gives an error as above. Thanks,

Treat an Unquoted Character String as a Data Frame
I have several datasets that come from different studies (fv02 and fv03), they represent different levels (patients and lesions), and they have different patient populations (itt, mitt, mitt3). I wanted to write some code that would pass my three requirements into a function I wrote, produce the output, but not have to require me to also pass a unique plot title or output filename for each

Device 0 (vif) could not be connected. Hotplug scripts not working.
Hi: I''m newbie to Xen. I''m using Suse as Dom0, and Debian5 as DomU. If no IP is specified, VM starts OK. Else, it fails and shows the following error: *Device* *0* (*vif*) *could* not be *connected*. *Hotplug* *scripts* not working. Googl''ing a lot bit I''ve seen this error is quite common, but I have found no solution. Any ideas? If you need any other
