xen, pvops & nvidia graphics
Hello all, this is my first post to the mailing list, so I hope this is the
right way to ask a question.
I''ve installed xen on my laptop (Asus N51Vf, specs here:
http://www.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=0Tc42s23bOdbbvY5), as I''m currently at
university and don''t have my proper desktop hardware to play with. The
laptop supports IOMMU/Vt-d and has one PCI-e Geforce GT130M

app_dbmysql and ODBC Voicemail
I have done a little work on asterisk and database integration. Below is
a link to app_dbmysql, modeled after Brian's app_dbodbc but for pure
MySQL.
I also ported the mysql-vm-routines.h to ODBC in case anyone is
interested.
You can get both of these from:
http://www.cheapnet.net/~mike/asterisk
They were working as of yesterday CVS, but today CVS will not compile
and I have not looked

Xen 3.4-rc2 - kernel 2.6.26-2-xen-686 and mptsas
Hello,
In real life I use xen 3.3.1 successfully on servers Fujitsu-Siemens RX100.
Now I to see how working xen-3.4-rc3 on the same server, but
unfortunately is a problem with loading a module to handle the disk
(mptsas) . I use debian lenny 5.0.1 and kernel version 2.6.26-2-xen-686.
Someone managed to compile 3.4 xen kernel with this version?

xen 3.4.0 debian lenny problem with Fujitsu Siemens Server
Hi,
I using on all server (FSC RX100S5) xen 3.3.1 and kernel 2.6.26-1 or
2.6.26-2,evrything it works good. Now I try using xen 3.4.0 with the
same kernel but the system not up only go to the initramfs. I suspect
that the kernel did not load the driver for the controller. The question
just why it works on a Xen 3.3.1 does not work on 3.4 with the same
versions of the kernel .

Centos 5.3, no AHCI on HP DL320 G5p?
I have one HP Proliant DL320 G5p, where for some reason, the AHCI mode
is not enabled. According to server specs, it should have AHCI/NCQ
capability, but ata_piix module gets loaded during bootup, not ahci module.
Any ideas how to enable AHCI mode?

Duplicate PV on HW RAID?
Hello,
My "hardware" (?) RAID system seems to work but says "duplicate PV" while
booting, I don't think I was reading them before. Any clues will be
appreciated.
>From what I recall:
1) RAID 1 was setup (using firmware setup program) on a machine with Intel
S3200 SHV Server Board.
2) Installed Centos 5.1, default LVM style. Anaconda saw a single 500GB disk
so I assumed

Hello,
I have been working sometime now on getting a HVM accepting a PCI card from
the host. As was said in the VT-D wiki I bought an ASUS P5E VM DO
motherboard (rel 0803) which has the VT-D option in the bios. I want to pass
a Hauppauge PVR 500 card to a virtual machine running LinuxMCE. After first
trying XEN 3.2.1 which did not enable the "VT-D virtualisation" bit in xm

Allocaation resource error (DELL Optiplex 755)...
Hi all,
(My first time in seeking assistance via the CentOS mailing list ... Not
sure if I should be submitting this as a possible kernel bug).
I've successfully installed Cent OS 5.1 (kernel: 2.6.18-53.1.13.el5) on
an Optiplex 755 (EM64T). However I'm not able to get a NVIDIA Gigabyte
8600GT (PCI-e) card to work with the system despite successfully
installing the latest NVIDIA drivers

NFS Hanging Under Heavy Load
Hello all,
I'm currently experiencing an issue with an NFS server I've built (a Dell
R710 with a Dell PERC H800/LSI 2108 and four external disk trays). It's a
backup target for Solaris 10, CentOS 5.5 and CentOS 6.2 servers that mount
it's data volume via NFS. It has two 10gig NICs set up in a layer2+3 bond
for one network, and two more 10gig NICs set up in the same way in another

Paradox
Anyone on the list using a Paradox database on a Samba server?
I'm after any performance tweaks which might speed up
accessing data in a particular application (Q-Pulse, just in case
anyone's heard of it).
Any smb.conf tweaks in general which have made a proven speed
improvement would be welcomed.
TIA
Jon.

SIP MWI and MySQL Realtime
I know that there are some patches being worked on to cache realtime
users that might ultimately fix this problem, but until then, here is a
little script that brings back the MWI when using the excellent mysql
realtime architecture with sip:

This script relies on sipsak utility found at http://sipsak.berlios.de/

Cingular/ATT killing my IMAP/POP connections with bad TCP FIN packets?
Hello all,
I've got an issue I'm almost positive is not related to Dovecot, but was
wondering whether anyone else has had similar problems or could
duplicate my results. Please accept my apologies if this is considered
off-topic or this issue is actually just a symptom of my own ignorance.
Also, sorry for how long this email got, I knew I wouldn't be able to
explain my issue in
