similar to: xend.err: "kernel image does not exist"

I had an issue late yesterday where some windows domU''s were down. The person who "owns" those domUs let windows updates install and then restart, which they failed to restart. When I tried to manually restart them I was getting can''t allocate memory errors. In the past I''ve had can''t allocate memory errors when trying to bring up a new domU.

When doing "virsh shutdown <domain id>" where, for instance, domain id = 1. It doesn''t actually clear the domain id unless dom0 is rebooted. Then when doing "virsh create vm1" with the vm1 xml file requesting a domain id #1, it gives an error that that domain id already exists. Is there a way to clear the domU id at shutdown/destroy without rebooting dom0?

I'm trying to mount a ocfs2 volume (created on sles11) on my sles10sp2 server. I created the volume with these options: "mkfs.ocfs2 -C 128k -L CLUFS -M cluster -N 16 /dev/sdc".
