NT domain and valid user problem
Hello everybody,
I met a problem when I configure the samba for our company. The case is,
1. We have to use Windows Domain to authenticate the user.
2. Only a few domain users can access the samba server.
2. We wanna all the allowed domain users are mapped to 1 unix userid:
checkpoint.
The Window Domain auth is working perfect. And if we created the unix id

with binaural-(or dummy head-or Kunstkopf-) recordin g, does vorbis keep the 3D sound?
Not exactly sure if this is what you are looking for, but here goes:
RC3 and prior maintain channel seperation with Q>=5.0 (cut-off is exact)
Vorbis 1.0 maintains channel seperation with Q>=6.0 (not sure of the exact
cut-off)
with release code, selecting a Q of 5.99 or lower will make assumptions for
channel seperation to save bits.
earch the archives for "ambisonics" - you may

Hi,
I try to compute circular means for a matrix with NAs, but the function "circ.mean" return only means for lines with complete values and do not accept "na.omit=T" or "na.rm=T", or "na.action=na.omit", or "na.fail=T".
Also, I try to use "polar.plot" of the package poltrix with the same matrix, but angles are not display because of

openssh connection hangs upon shell exit
I am using an openSSH server on a privately built distribution. I am can
login with an interactive session, use scp and everything is fine except
that when I exit the shell of an interactive session or when the copy
transfer terminates (scp), sshd hangs forever. The shell process is in the
zombie state, which indicates that the openssh process for the connection
has not checked the child status.

MAC Adress / Iptables/ Shorewall
Hello,
I use Shorewall 2.0.16 on my server.
I would like to auhtorized some external desktop to connect my network. The
desktop''s IP change always, because they use dynamic addresses and they
haven''t static IP. So I would like to filter those desktop...With shorewall,
I can use an IP to drop, reject...But in my case, I can use it. So I think
to use a filter on the MAC address.

Yes thank you for answering so fast !
I have corrected it, here the new diagram and the new routing table. But it
still doesn''t work.
>From the router i can access to 192.168.11.254
I have add the rules :
DNAT loc priv:192.168.11.254:22 tcp 22
But i can''t connect to 192.168.11.254 from LAN
The DNAT fonction doesn''t work, but i can DROP packet arriving on eth0 (loc)

Incoming Calls
Hi All,
I have the following scenario, it may already have been answered elsewhere,
but I cant find the solution.
I already have a PBX and would like to start implementing asterisk. I have
ordered a 4 port card from the asterisk store (2 port FXS and 2 port FXO)
and am waiting for it to arrive.
I do not want to plug my incoming lines into my FXO ports yet as not all the
desks have IP phones

pkg_info and 'make install' failures
Hello,
According to
* ports/54407 Newer bsd.port.mk don't work on FBSD 4.6.2 or prior
* ports/54475 due to changes in bsd.port.mk, ports no longer install on
pre-4.7 releases.
* ports/54561 all ports currently fail on FreeBSD 4.5
it seems quite a few people have problems installing FreeBSD ports,
because port installation has started using pkg_info's -O parameter. I
have also been
