Re: Font issue in Half-Life 2 via Wine 1.3.0
The active abilities unlocked with the initial talent tree selection are abilities that (Buy WOW Gold (http://www.zyy.com))are core to the role being chosen. Our goal is to choose abilities that let the specializations come into their (RuneScape Gold (http://www.storeingame.com))own much earlier than was possible when a specialization-defining talent had to be buried deep enough that other talent

Displaying a distribution -- was: Combining two histograms
I am immediately reminded of something I read which goes "A sufficiently trained statistician can read the vagaries of a Q-Q plot like a sharman can read a chicken's entrails, with a similar recourse to scientific principles. Interpreting Q-Q plots is more a visceral than an intellectual exercise. The uninitiated are often mystified by the process. Experience is the key here."

Handling realisations in geoRglm
Dear R users: I want to model mosquito count data based on landcover attributes and meteorological variables using a Poisson GLSM in the geoRglm package. I have monthly mosquito counts over more than 20 years with repeated observations from individual trap sites over time. I have used as.geodata() to successfully read my dataset into the geodata format utilized by geoR and geoRglm,

sysdata.rda vs. rda files in data directory
Dear developeRs, my package FrF2.catlg128 holds large catalogues and is supposed to gain additional ones. All the catalogues are intended for the user. So far, the catalogues were stored in the data directory, and LazyData was "no". I understand that this is not considered wise any more (if it ever was), so that I want to change to LazyData "yes" with the next release

OpenSSH 2.2.0p1 + Redhat 6.2 - Problem with scp
Hi, Chances are this is me stuffing something up, but in cases its not, this is my problem. I've just installed the latest port of OpenSSH on a few Redhat 6.2 machines. That is version 2.2.0p1. Everything compiles ok, and using the supplied init and pam files I got openssh working without to much difficulty. In fact it was easier than the commerical versions. I can use ssh to login to remote

DirectShow filter for Speex
Hi, I've had many requests in the past for a Speex DirectShow filter. Well, the wait is now over, thanks to Jean-Francois Emond. Both source and binaries are available from the "Other software" page (http://www.speex.org/projects.html). Bear in mind that for now, only a subset of Speex features are supported (8 kHz, 15 kbps). For those who would like to know what's coming next,

scp forces original access permissions when owner lacks write access
Hello, I am not sure if this is a bug or a feature... When I use scp to copy a file to a filesystem which forces or masks permissions on new files (in my case a samba share) the resulting permissions depend on whether the owner had write access in the original permissions. If the owner did have write access then the copied file ends up with the permissions specified by the filesystem. If the

fallback to virtio_blk if guest kernel lacks virtio_scsi support
Currently virtio_scsi is forced if qemu in the host supports this feature. This test does however not take the capabilities of the started guest into account. As a result no disks will be found if the guest kernel is older than 3.4. I forced qemu_supports_virtio_scsi to return always 0, which seem to work well for the kernel versions as shipped in SLES11SP2, openSuSE 12.1 and older. Is there any

demo cd lacks usb-support
Hi, i tried to boot the democd, and failed - well, i couldn''t type, since i''m using a usb-keyboard. I''d expect that HID-device-support is statically compiled in, but it doesn''t seem to be that way. Of course, i than used a PS2-keyboard, but just for the next democd: you should deliver it with usb-support ;-) (i hope that''s possible, is it?)

Counter Strike Source Scoreboard Lacks Fonts
As I posted on AppDB my CSS Scoreboard (when you press tab) shows up blank, with no player names or scores despite having installed the Tahoma and Lucida fonts using winetricks. I'm using Ubuntu 10.10 with an nVidia GeForce Go 7700 video card.
