[LLVMdev] Fwd: How to force the creation of arrays with zeroes?
Hi Anton, in a solution without CAZ, isNullValue can just return true when it sees the special "this ConstantArray is all zero" flag. So all the places that now look for CAZ can just use isNullValue instead and there need be no performance loss. That said, CAZ is more "in your force" so less likely to be forgotten about. Another interesting possibility is to handle more than

[LLVMdev] Fwd: How to force the creation of arrays with zeroes?
Hi Chris. The main question is how to implement ConstantAggregateXXXXX::getOperand? Should it be empty collection, or it must return the item aggregated? -Stepan. 22.01.2012, 04:43, "Chris Lattner" <clattner at apple.com>: > Yep check out PR1324.  Doing something like this would be a great improvement. > > -Chris > > On Jan 21, 2012, at 9:42 AM, Duncan Sands

Yep check out PR1324. Doing something like this would be a great improvement. -Chris On Jan 21, 2012, at 9:42 AM, Duncan Sands <baldrick at free.fr> wrote: > Hi Anton, in a solution without CAZ, isNullValue can just return true when it > sees the special "this ConstantArray is all zero" flag. [LLVMdev] Fwd: How to force the creation of arrays with zeroes?
Hi Stephan, I've been thinking about this a bit and have some more specific ideas, I'll write up a design and maybe implement it over the next few days. -Chris On Jan 21, 2012, at 11:50 PM, Stepan Dyatkovskiy <STPWORLD at narod.ru> wrote: > Hi Chris. BUG report : 'rnorm' (LINUX, R 1.6.2) (PR#2682)
Dear colleague, unfortunately 'rnorm' does not create normal distributed numbers as you can see with following histogramm: > hist(rnorm(1000000),breaks=100) and > hist(pnorm(rnorm(1000000)),breaks=100) I have done several chi^2-tests which have all failed: > chi2unif<- function(x,N) > { > anz=length(x) > f0<-rep(anz/N,times=N) >

[LLVMdev] How to force the creation of arrays with zeroes?
How many times will a typical client call getOperand on your helper when it wraps a 10,000 element ConstantAggregateZero? With CAZ the client is force to think about this case, and often handles it much much more efficiently. CAZ is a time optimization as well as a space optimization. -Chris On Jan 21, 2012, at 12:03 AM, Stepan Dyatkovskiy <STPWORLD at narod.ru> wrote: > Hi Chris.

dotplot: character size of labels (PR#816)
There seems to be a bug in "dotplot" concerning the "cex" parameter. Setting cex has no effect on the character size of the labels of the points. This problem was posted to r-help today (Thu, 18 Jan 2001); the solution given by Brian Ripley (and Uwe Ligges) seems to work for me. Heinrich Rinner. > version _ platform i386-pc-mingw32 arch x86

[LLVMdev] RFA: Constant String c"\000"
The Constants.cpp file returns a ConstantAggregateZero object when you pass it a c"\000" string. Here is the code: Constant *ConstantArray::get(const ArrayType *Ty, const std::vector<Constant*> &V) { // If this is an all-zero array, return a ConstantAggregateZero object if (!V.empty()) { Constant *C = V[0]; if (!C->isNullValue())

sshd and .bashrc
The short version: There's a "#define USE_PIPES" in the middle of session.c; it would be better if it were in (e.g.) defines.h or some other .h file. (If in fact it needs to be defined at all; I'm not convinced that it does.) Here's the (much) longer version: I recently installed the latest OpenSSH on some of our servers (RHEL5, which provides the 4.3 release) and soon

[PATCH][QEMU] serial save load fix
NOTE: An applicable subset of this patch was also submitted to upstream qemu. SUMMARY: This patch fixes several bugs in serial.c (1) A typo in serial_save() where qemu_get_8s is called (should be qemu_put_8s) (2) No support provided in serial_load() for version_id == 1 (should unmarshal a 1 byte s->divider and should provide a default value for s->fcr (3) Call serial_ioport_write() to
