xen and pci
hello,
I''m running XEN 2.0 on IBM ThinkPad T23.
Now the weird thing is that I get two different outputs from /sbin/lspci
depending on whether I run 2.6.8.1-xen0 or 2.6.8.1-bproc.
In particular the output from 2.6.8.1-xen0 seems to be missing those 4

UTStarcom F1000 - WLAN connection unreliable
Hi list,
I bought two UTStarcom F1000 phones, pre-equipped with the latest
firmware, including WPA support. Those are configured to register to an
asterisk server on the internet (not LAN), and registration works.
Calling and being called also, with transfer and all bells and whistles.
After a few minutes up to 5 hours (varies widely), the display tells me
that an Accesspoint is not available

[Bridge] Flushing MAC-tables(?)
Dear list-members!
I am using OpenWRT (www.openwrt.org) on two accesspoints. Within
OpenWRT, the wireless interface and the ethernet interface are bridged
to one interface (br0).
Those two accesspoints are standing quite far from one another. Their
WLAN-cells do not cross each other, meaning I have an area in between
the two accesspoints, where there is no accesspoint of the two
accessible: a

pciback error - what does it mean?
I''m still playing around with xen-3.0.2-3 and the pciback.hide
option. Currently I''m trying to give the guest a pcmcia-to-pci card
with a prism54 wlan card in the slot. When starting the guest the
following message apears in the bootlog:

Custom kernel needed for ndiswrapper? (for Linksys WPC54G wireless pcmcia)
Greetings:
I'm just installed Centos-4 on an IBM T-21 laptop. So far so good. Now
I'd like to pop in a wireless lan adapter. I'm looking at a buying a
Linksys WPC54G adapter (although I haven't done so yet).
After doing some searching, it looks like the best way to get this card
working is via ndiswrapper [http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net] and then
to use Windoze

PCMCIA card
Hello,
Are there any T1/E1 PCMCIA cards available on the market supported by
zaptel drivers and asterisk ?
I need to make some demos at my clients with asterisk and it's a pain to
move around with a midi-tower computer just for that.
Thanks,
Calin.

SMP/PCMCIA
I have two sacrificial lambs -- one is an SMP box, the other one''s a
laptop, but I don''t see kernel-smp or kernel-pcmcia-cs packages.
So, can I use the ext3 patch on an SMP box or a laptop?

help on ADSL shaping
Hi
I have read the howto on qdisc''s a few times but I cant figure out how to
use the shaping capabilities to serve my needs. In the village whera I
live we have created a wireless local network consisting of 10 houses. One
of these houses has an ADSL connection and services this connection to the
other houses. To gain access to the network a member must have an
accesspoint in client mode,

HW-Recommendation: cell/mobile phone, capable of WLAN and SIP ??
Hello,
is anyone on the list using a normal cell/mobile phone which is able to
act as a SIP client over WLAN?
Or has anyone heard of a SIP client for cell/mobile phones running
windows mobile 6.x?
The phone should use SIP, when the asterisk server is reachable and
should automatically switch to a German telco if it is not reachable.
Thanks for any hints,
Stefan
