CentOS 7
Greetings all, just wondering if anyone knows if / when there will be
training materials for RHEL 7 (CEntOS7) available? The last book I was
able to purchase was the study guide for the RHSCA / RHCE exam, (by
Michal Jang!) Does anyone know if / when the next versions will be out?
I'd like to go through it all with the latest and not "last years model"
under my belt!
Thanks!

[Question]About KVM network zero-copy feature!
Hi,All
I searched from git-log, and found that until now we have vhost TX zero-copy experiment feature, how
about RX zero-copy?
For XEN, net-back also only has TX zero-copy, Is there any reason that RX zero-copy still not implemented?
Thanks!

synchronizing file permission mode after the first copy
I'm using rsync almost everywhere and quite satisfied with it.
But recently one thing started annoying me that --perms (or -p) only
work when I do the first sync. Once the file gets copied, it looks like
rsync takes no more care about the file mode and just leaves it
untouched. :(
I sync some of directory trees automatically from cron, and from time to
time I change the mode of my source

Error in eval(expr, envir, enclos) : object 'Rayos' not found???
Hi R-listers,
I am trying to make a trellis boxplot with the HSuccess (y-axis) in each
Rayos (beach sections) (x-axis), for each Aeventexhumed (A, B, C) - nesting
event. I am not able to do so and keep receiving:
Error in eval(expr, envir, enclos) : object 'Rayos' not found

[LLVMdev] Question about use-def chain
Programmers’ manual says we can iterate over a use-def chain by
op_iterator.
It works fine except for load and store instruction of stack variables.
For example, a simple bitcode is like the below.
i = alloca i32
store i32 0, i32* %i, align 4
%tmp1 = load i32* %i, align 4
If I apply a use-def chain to load instruction, I get alloca instruction.
I think store instruction is a correct

guest A from virbr0 can talk to guest B in virbr1 but not vice versa
Hello,
I came across an interesting problem in my home lab a few weeks ago as I'm
prepping for my RHCE exam using Michael Jang study guide. I've been at this
for days now, and I still can't wrap my head around how two or more virtual
networks in default NAT configuration are even allowed to communicate with
each other despite what the libvirt documentation said.
Here's the

RHCE
I realize this is a CentOS mailing list but because it is based directly on RHEL, I would assume there are a few individuals who frequent the list that have passed the RHCE exam. I plan on taking the exam this March and was wondering if there are any tips you RHCEs out there could provide that may help me.
Thanks!
Dan

Samba and AFS
I think I have come across what seems to be a bug in the interplay between
Samba and AFS. I'm running 1.9.16p11 on an IBM RS/6000 (AIX 4.1.5) with the
AFS support included (AFS 3.4a). The client machine is running Windows 95.
I've created an AFS area which is writeable (rlidwk) to an AFS protection
group. The group contains two AFS users, say user1 and user2. If user1
creates a file in

Hi,
I''m hitting this issue - sda5 is a normal device, nothing to do with

Is there something I can do to resolve this?
Thank you

unexpected raid1 behavior?
Hi, I''m starting to play with btrfs on my new computer. I''m running Gentoo and
have compiled the 2.6.31 kernel, enabling btrfs.
Now I have 2 partitions (on 2 different sata disks) that are free for me to
play with, each about 375 gb in size. I wanted to create a "raid1" volume
using these two partitions, so I did:
# mkfs.btrfs -d raid1 /dev/sda5 /dev/sdb5
# mount
