xen_blk: can''t get major 8 with name sd
This happens randomly, more often than not the next xm create will
succeed. Don''t think kernel config is related as I use almost identical
setup on my UP machine, but I use the work around for dev designations
on all the vm configs. With that setup I get 100% success on creation of
domU''s with changeset: 7353:29db5bded574, this changeset would not boot
dom0 on the SMP machine.

Centos 6 2.6.32-696.18.7.el6.x86_64 does not boot in Xen PV mode
I can confirm the issue with 2.6.32-696.18.7.el6.x86_64, but mine looks
alittle different... Maybe because i'm using pvgrub.

Just verified after a lengthy compilation of the kernel

Re: annoying network problem
Hi,
I have a problem with networking under XEN, I hope someone can help me
out. The problem is that after some time (a day or so) the network
suddenly stops working, and it takes some waiting and/or a reboot to fix
this.
I''m running XEN 3.1.0-rc7 on an Intel Core2 (x86_64). It''s a Fedora 8
system, with the following packages:

jessie, xen: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'rfind'
Hi,
I have a problem that I can't solve it: the hvm-guest don't start (same
image works under Xen 4.01 on another machines).
Further I'm confust, because I had to use xm instad of xl.
A PV-guest works fine. I start it with 'xm create jessie'.
Some data you can see down. What further information do you need?

Paravirtualization drivers for running windows guests being release ???
Not that I really believe it but I read somewhere (cant find it again) that microsoft was releasing paravirtualization drivers for kvm that would be adaptable to xen. Is this rumor or is this true?
I honestly can''t imagine why Microsoft would do this so I am skeptical, can anyone confirm or deny this? Provide a link perhaps?
thanks,

We need a patch in the kernel for tpm
Hi!
Think I found a reference to the problem(s) I am seeing with
xen-tpmfront in my setup on the net:
https://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/9485637/
This patch has not been officially entered and it is not
included in the kernel provided in SIG virt either
Can we please get it in ?
Best

hotplug vcpu problem to Centos 5.2 DomU
My dom0 is uing Centos 5.2 x64. I have just upgraded Xen from 3.3.0 to
3.3.1. After upgraded, I find that I cannot hotplug additional vcpu anymore.
I have a domU "linux1" which is a paravirtualized vm with centos 5.2. I try
to "xm vcpu-set linux1 4", it does not have any error message, but those
vcpu cannot be displayed. I also tried to add vcpu using "virsh setvcpus
