CentOS 6.6 - reshape of RAID 6 is stucked
Hello
I have a CentOS 6.6 Server with 13 disks in a RAID 6. Some weeks ago, i upgraded it to 17 disks, two of them configured as spare. The reshape worked like normal in the beginning. But at 69% it stopped.

dlm timeouts and following errors -112
Hi list,
I am experimenting with ocfs2 (rpm package: 1.2.2-0.2), using linux-ha 2.0.8
(all running on a SLES 10 x86-64, rpm packages from linux-ha.org) for the
heartbeat. The three nodes are connected on a gigabit switch. From time to
time I have problems to unmount a drive, and I have to reboot the whole
system to fix the problem. When these lockups occur, I see these messages

"device delete" kills contents
Hallo, linux-btrfs,
I''ve (once again) tried "add" and "delete".
First, with 3 devices (partitions):
mkfs.btrfs -d raid0 -m raid1 /dev/sdk1 /dev/sdl1 /dev/sdm1
Mounted (to /mnt/btr), filled with about 100 GByte data.
Then
btrfs device add /dev/sdj1 /mnt/btr
results in

ZFS @ centOS
I have trouble finding definitive information about this. I am considering
the use of SME 7.5.1 (centOS based) for my server needs, but I do want to
use ZFS and I thus far I have only found information about the ZFS-Fuse
implementation and unclear hints that there is another way. Phoronix
reported that http://kqinfotech.com/ would release some form of ZFS for the
kernel but I have found nothing.

Does anyone know how to determine which file system a disk was formatted

Problem resizing partition of nfs volume
Hi:
I have an NFS volume that I'm trying to resize a partition on.
Something about the fdisk process is corrupting something on the drive
Before running fdisk, I can mount the volume find:
$ mount /dev/sdo1 /home
... and the volume is mounted fine.
And,
$ e2fsck -f /dev/sdo1
/dev/sdo1: clean, ...
But then I run fdisk to rewrite the partition table of this drive, to expand
the /dev/sdo1

ocfs doesn't free space?
an ocfs-volume was nearly full (only 800MB free). i deleted some
datafiles to free space:
$ df -h .

/dev/sdp1 10G 5.3G 4.8G 53% /db/DPS
so there are more than 4GB available.

ext3 on Linux software RAID1
Everyone,
We just had a pretty bad crash on one of production boxes and the ext2
filesystem on the data partition of our box had some major filesystem
corruption. Needless to say, I am now looking into converting the
filesystem to ext3 and I have some questions regarding ext3 and Linux
software RAID.
I have read that previously there were some issues running ext3 on a

O2CB in ocfs2tools 1.2.4
Hi,
I might be overlooking the obvious, but I have yet to find
"/etc/init.d/o2cb" however, I read that configuration uses this init script.
Where is it?
From: ocfs2-tools-1.2.4/README.O2CB
[Starting the OCFS2 Clustering Services]
O2CB is comprised of a simple node manager, heartbeat, TCP protocol, and
DLM. The basic steps in startup are as follows:

[PATCH 0/2] Move /sys/o2cb to /sys/fs/o2cb
Hi Greg,
The following two patches move /sys/o2cb into /sys/fs/o2cb as we
previously discussed. A symlink is created to maintain compatibility with
existing versions of ocfs2-tools. A patch to automatically search
/sys/fs/o2cb has been committed to the ocfs2-tools repo and a release with
that code shouldn't be too far out. Old versions of ocfs2-tools have been
tested and work fine with the

O2CB_HEARTBEAT_THRESHOLD won't take changes
Hello All,
I have multiple OCFS2 clusters on SLES10 SP2 running Xen. We needed to increase the O2CB_HEARTBEAT_THRESHOLD from 31 up to 61 and did so successfully on 2 of our 3 clusters.
However on one of the three clusters we are not able to change the value. The /etc/sysconfig/o2cb file contains 61 as the threshold after reconfiguring via /etc/init.d/o2cb configure, we reconfigure all 3 nodes at

renaming a OCFS2 cluster

Hi everyone,
another problem I did not find a solution for...
I ran "o2cb configure" and configured a cluster named "ocfs2". Lazy me,
I did not invent a new name.
Now this cluster must be renamed to avoid confusion, the name has to
change to "sapcluster".
I changed /etc/ocfs2/cluster.conf to the new name and ran
